I am trying to lose weight, at this time I am obese...actually use to be only 110 lbs. Life happens! Anyway, I am trying to lose weight and want to know what would be a good range to shoot for on a long renge goal? It's time to get my life back in order.

average weight is 110, but it can range healthily between 105 and 120.

If you were comfortable at 110, make that your long range goal, but dont overwhelm yourself with that. The key is to set short small term goals. For example: you say: im going to lose 5 pounds before august 15. That's completely doable. If you do it, fantastic, if you do more, perfect. But if you set a large goal for yourself and then dont reach it, you can become discouraged and tend to give up.

my advise, i dont know how much you want to lose, but give yourself till the end of the year to lose at least 30 pounds. Its a good goal, and completely doable. Then, make yourself a new years resolution to lose the remainder before summer.

Good luck

If you lose weight, you'll be under a healthy weight and under an average weight, sweetheart! You should *not* lose weight xx Here's what the experts say about your weight, your height and your age: "A weight of 7 stone 0 pounds and a height of 5 feet 2 inches for a 14 year old girl indicates that they are a healthy weight. Staying at a healthy weight, eating a good diet and doing regular physical activity are all important for the girl's health and development. If you have any concerns that they may be underweight, you should see your doctor." (Remember, the people you see in magazines or on tv or in films are often borderline unhealthily thin.) EDIT: The people above who say you are under weight are looking at the Adult chart, not the chart for under-18s... just don't lose weight but you are at a healthy weight at the mo, hun :) xx

I am 5'0" and the healthiest weight I have been was 125 lbs. I had a 6 pack and in the best shape. If you were this size as a teen then chances are you might not get back down to that so ten pounds to that would look right. 120'ish pounds would look about right.

Good luck

Well I'm 5'5" and I weigh 105. I think I'm supposed to weigh around 120. So I guess about 100-110 lbs would be healthy.

GOOD LUCK!!!

A healthy weight range for a 5'2 female (it also kinda depends how old you are) is 120 - 130lbs.
