When should my son start school, September or January?

My four year old son is meant to enrol for Junior school in September but as he was born after 28th February 2003 he is only allowed to start part time (Monday - Friday 9-12) I have changed my working hours to coincide with full time school hours 9-3 and work quite far from the school. I have the option of starting him in January but worry that keeping him in Nursery until January is the wrong decision as he has recently started behaving badly there, what should I do??

I think that you should put him in school starting in September. He will be with the other kids and be in school for the full school year. He will also probably try to act like the other kids and act more mature and responsible.
