...and I no longer know what to do! He is 10 years old and I had him neutered when he was just a kitten. Everything was fine for years until one night he escaped outside. I could not find him until early the next morning and within days he began spraying the walls, the furniture and mostly my daugters bed!! I had him checked by the vet and he was fine, so the vet suggested a bigger litter box. Went and bought a bigger litter box and it did not help. We went and bought a bottle of odor-remover that was supposed to clean up the mess and neutralize the smell. Nothing. Right now he lives outside in a little cathouse we made him and though he seems fine, it has been suggested that we will never break the cat of this habit and it would be humane to have him put down. Suggestions?

I am lucky that I work for a bery underatnding employer that tolerates me being late in every day. I am late in every day because I suffer with IBS that plays up every morning and also during the day sometimes. I am forever running to the loo. If I was ever called for Jury Service I would always be late because of being stuck on the toilet and would always be interrupting the case to be excused. If I try and ignore it I end up in terrible pain. Have been to the Doctors and they can do nothing for me. Would this get me out of Jury Service as it's not really my fault.

Please don’t judge, but I do drugs sometimes, but have been cutting down a lot on the times I do, so now it’s probably one night out a month.

My boyfriend and I had planned a very rare day for just the two of us, but he then decided to throw a party for a friends birthday the night before. I said that was fine, but I would stay home because I didn’t want to take anything as the next day was v important to me. This party was for a non close friend, and only 7 people came. In my mind it was just an excuse to get off our heads, which is why I didn’t want to go. He said if I wasn’t bothered to travel to his for the party then he wouldn’t see me the next day. So I went, and altho I’d said I didn’t want to take anything, my bf started guilt tripping me saying things like “I can’t FORCE you to have fun” and just making me feel rubbish for not wanting to. So I did. I wanted to go to bed at 3am, but he coaxed me into staying up until 6am. Then I had to go to bed.

People try to tell me that television is not, 'liberal ran'...but every day, day after day, I hear nothing but evil about Mr. Bush, and the war, not one good thing that we are doing, all except that we are getting killed...doesn't anyone know that during World War II, ten THOUSAND men a day were dying, and something like 3000 a day in Nam?...this has been the best fought war in the history of this country, yet nothing about our troops, or the Men that are in charge of them..Liberals, why is this?

Before you criticize me for attempting to call you all hateful individuals, know that it is not my wish to generalize. However, much of Christianity does allow for equal retaliation and the belief that there is eternal torment for the non-Christians, and there are many who hate others who seem to be deep in "sin." This is so bad at times that some will even take delight in the thought that non-Christians will go to Hell.

What good is this thinking? This is not what Jesus taught. Should you not learn from his example and the example of other peaceful individuals, i.e. Buddha, Gandhi, etc?

Retaliation only begets more suffering, and your mind itself may do harm to you and others.

I..um..formatted my hard drive in a moment of madness. I used the 'quick' format option which I believe leaves most of the files intact and I havent accessed that drive since. Does anyone know of a program, preferably free, that will undelete my lost files. One was a spreadsheet which is nearly impossible to recreate. Ok I've learned my lesson about backing up. my husband is turning 40 soon. He is having a rough time dealing with this. He also started a new job recently to add to the stress. I think he is trying to find his way in life but he isn't one to talk much about his feelings. He says its because he doesn't even know what is wrong or what is going on with himself. What can I do to help him? Should I just back off for a while and be patient? And how long do I just sit here and wait? This has just started in our relationship so there is no "other" woman--yet. I am scared it will come to that. I hear about men going through this at his age and it leads to that alot. We have been married for 15 years and if he can't talk to me about what is going on then what the heck am i doing here??

I am 35 years old and have smoked for 20 years. I have tried to stop in the past and allways end up smoking again.
For the last 10 years I have smoked milder cigarettes. These are typically half the strength of normal ciggies. I know I should stop but what I want to know is this....
By smoking lights, does my chance of premature death or illness decrease in comparison with a person who smokes regulars? Or do the manufacturers put other stuff in them to keep me hooked?
