This guy proposed to me. I am a Virgo and he is a Gemini, yet he says he loves me. what should i do?

i have heard that virgos and geminis have disasterous relationship, please help me i need sincere advice.

i feel that i also like this person. But i am afraid i don't want my relationship to end horribly, that is why i am asking.

If you love him follow your heart, not astrology. My mom and dad signs together are seen as a terrible match (scorpio and Aries) but they been married for over 25 years, two kids and still very happy and have a loving strong relationship. I follow astrology, but only to a certain degree. If I felt the love connection with someone I wouldn't care if we were compatible sign wise or not (though I sometimes look up there sign to get a little idea of there personality lol)

Ahem... If you really want an astrological point of view there are several sights that allow you to calculate how your relationship will work using more than just your sun sign. My personal favorite being www.cafeastrology.com. However, an even better way to decide if you should marry him would be: decide if you're ready to be married in the first place, if your not ready then it's an obvious no. If yes, how long have you two been together? Nine months before you're engaged and nine months after is usually a safe bet to get the wedding on the way, because if you can wait 18 months to get hitched, you obviously want to. And finally, take into consideration, if you get married, ideally you'll be with this person for the rest of your natural lives. Can you handle that? Can he handle that? If you answered yes to all these questions forget the astrology mumbo jumbo(even if I do live by it) because in reality, everything only applies as much as you let it.

First of all, nowhere in your question do you speak of love. You use the word like. Never mind what you heard, because chances are what you heard about Geminis and Virgos did not come from a reputable astrologer anyway.
If you love this man, your heart would have sung when he asked, and you would have said yes without hesitation instead of using astrology as an excuse or a way out. You and you alone know what's in your heart. Good luck.

That's not a good reason to say no. I find that some gemini's hold all the character traits that annoy virgos and that's what equals a bad relationship. If he has a decent mix of characteristics (both good and bad) and he doesn't drive you insane with a certain indecisiveness meant purely to annoy us structured virgos (I'm one too.) Then I'm sure you'll live happily ever after. You definately don't want to look back and see that you made a decision based on your astrological sign.

This is not what i have heard. The Virgos and the Cats attract the Geminis and the Rats. But such a relationship is at the advantage of the Virgo. Therefore if you care about you first, go get him!

you made it sound like you don't like him.

It depend on what he else he have in his birth chart. There are people out there who go well together but they don't even last 6 months or even a month.
You need to stop worrying and enjoy your life. You are a Virgo and can be picky, and i hope you don't apply you The ( what if) He is meet to be with you now and propose to you. I suggest you love him, you love him And He loves you, He loves you and enjoy it while it last, THERE ARE OPPOSITE ATTRACTION AND THEY WORK WELL THEM TWO PEOPLE WHO ARE JUST TO PERFECT TO EACH OTHER.
