He pushed me and I went ahead and reported it to the police since I went to seek medical help. I am doing much better now and we both looking to probably go our seperate ways. I want to move on from my past and really do not want him to go through any more legal procedures... is there anything I can do?

So, I'm getting married in Vegas in 2 months, and suddenly we found out our best man (my fiances' best friend) can't come to the wedding. The details aren't important, but he won't be there. I'm pretty annoyed considering we gave him a year and a half notice ahead of time, but the show must go on... My fiance has no siblings, and the only members of his family attending are his mother, father and step mother. His other friends may not even be able to come (everyon'es broke, I guess) and really the original best man is his closest friend and he doesn't want to make anyone else second choice. We have no other bridal party, only his friend and my sister were going to do it. What do I do?? Do we have his father as best man? Do we scrap the wedding party all together? What is the purpose of them anyway? Just to stand there? Can I have all of our guests stand (about 15 ppl) and gather around us?

Can girls and guys just be friends??? I have an awesome guy friend. We have everything in common. He has even told me that he can talk to me like I am one of the guys. It's still alive as I managed to get it away from my cat but it doesn't seem to be able to fly and looks as though it's wing is broken. There doesn't appear to be any open wounds. I've put it in a box and shut him in a quiet room but I don't know what to do next. Can I contact someone? Is there anything else I can do?

Nothing is wrong with me the guys i meet are not the ideal match the ones i want i can not get. My computer was eaten up with a virus so I cleaned it out and re-installed Windows XP. The problem I'm having is that I cannot connect to the internet now. When I go to the start menu, then My Computer, then to Network Connections there are no icons on the screen. There is supposed to be High Speed Internet icon and a LAN icon....neither of which is there. Did windows not install correctly? How do I get it to recognize my internet?
