Global warming is a farce and cannot be supported conclusively by real scientific data. It is a 'gut feeling' on the part of most of the scientists who are crying wolf. The fact is, we do not have enough data to determine true trends in climate change. The majority of scientists conclude that the ice packs in Antarctica are growing - it's colder there than ever recorded. The sun cycles and changing orbit are affecting climate more than anything. Al gore is a gas bag.

Yeah, he is, and I'm pretty sure he would say he is.
Pretty much all humans (at least in the developing and developed worlds) are part of the problem, even the ones who are trying not to be. The ones that are environmentally conscious are just making things worse less quickly than are those who aren't.
Oh, and CON-MOM, check your facts again. Bush's Grandfather was also a politician (as was his great grandfather, I believe).
Also, Bush's Father was and is insanely rich, which is what accounted for his entry into Yale, not his dad's political status.
And again, those who are so concerned with Gore's hypocrisy are themselves hypocrites. The point isn't whether Gore is environmentally friendly. The point is, are YOU environmentally friendly. If Gore's actions are causing you to say screw the environment, then you are just looking for an excuse to keep from having to change your lifestyle.

The premise of your question may have two false assumptions. Global warming is not caused by humans. Glaciers are receding and revealing old mines where humans once dug. The receding therefore is just a natural cycle we are going through. Is Al Gore human? I'd have to run a DNA test. LOL! Ok...he's human. He's just attached his wagon to the global warming horse hoax in an effort to be relevant. Pretty sad and pathetic, isn't it.

Yeah, as a human he's been part of the problem. But unlike the science denying neo conservatives, Gore aims to be part of the solution.
You did law school! May I suggest a course in critical thinking after catch up on your CLE requirements.

Yes, but, even though he has a high energy bill, his energy provider is 100% RENEWABLE ENRGY (uses wind and solar power) so he isn't a hyppocrite. The media just didn't say that so they could get good ratings.
Also, he is greatly influencing people to prevent global warming so that might make him more part of the solution than the problem.

The logical conclusion to the argument, yes. I have yet to hear anybody volunteering to drop dead to reduce human activity.
But it isn't about the environment anyway. It's about control. Politicians LIVE to control other ppl's lives because it gives them power. And it has been said that power is more addicting than drugs, money or sex. Congress is full of living examples of that.

Sure, we all are, but Gore is at least making an effort to get everyone to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Thus he's also part of the solution.
