God save the queen!!

Yes - I agree, I think she is a marvellous woman who has selflessly fulfilled her role to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth for over 55 years. She represents a tradition that sets us apart from the rest of the world and helps to attract visitors to the UK. If you consider how much the role of the monarchy has changed since 1952 when she accended the throne, I think she has adapted very well and moved with the times, despite what her critics say.
God Save The Queen.

I think that she does a very difficult job extremely well, and has done for 55 years. She is a credit to this country and an example to all. Let's not forget Prince Philip either. His job as the queen's consort has been even more difficult. I know that he has made some verbal gaffes, but his behaviour and protocol are faultless. They are both superb.

In the grand scheme of things she makes absolutely no difference to anything of any importance. So, I have no feelings about her, either way.
I know this answer will annoy some people, but if you didn't want an honest opinion, you shouldn't have asked the question.

why do you think this? she is an unelected figurehead who contributes nothing to this country. she is disgustingly rich, with money she has done nothing to earn while people sleep in the streets and die from cold and starvation, minuets away from her decadent palace. the whole idea of a monarchy in this country is stupid and outdated. Her and her whole sponging family should be made to live on a council estate and earn an honest living like the rest of us. or beheaded. either way suits me.

Yes I think she is wonderful.
I thought today's early news was funny though, someone asked her to remove her 'crown' for a photo, and she walked off in a huff. You can't just take the tiara off, it has to be put on just right for her. It sounded funny only because it proves she is human, she is normally completly calm.
It is even funnier now that it has turned out that it was all a mistake, she never walked out, the pictures were of her walking in. She did refuse to take her tiara off though.

The queen is an asset to this country and I admire her for carrying on what must be a very tiring work schedule at her age when most folk have retired and are taking thinks easy. I'm not sure that I admire any or many of the other Royals though.

Yes I do. She has been our monarch for more than 50 years and has always behaved impeccably. I think she is a wonderful woman.
