I work a lot and my husband usually cooks - he a hardcore carnivore and finds it difficult to cook for me. When I wasn't working and he was - I usually would make some meat dish for him a couple of times a week or take him out - but I knew what I was doing.

He's not that good of a cook anyway - but he tries ;)

So what are some good recipes I can give to him to try?

Notes:
He doesn't like cooking tofu, but will if it is simple
Looking for recipes for either grill or crock pot - it's too hot to use the oven!

Does anyone know how to get rid of fleas on a dog? We've tried everything: washing her in dawn, rubbing flea medicine on her, a flea collar, washing her in flea shampoo. None of it seems to work.
We live in an apartment and have to take her out to use the restroom, so that's where she's getting them from. But, we have no alternative to that. They are also getting into our home. Any way to prevent or even treat that??
Please help!

Let's face it, Bush shouldn't have pardoned Libby.

And I also agree that many of Clintons pardons were hypocritical or politically motivated.

But apart from this, why should the President of the United States be pardoning ANYONE? He's not a judge. Only the courts should be making these decisions. Juries make up their minds, and their decisions should only be changes through an appeal process that takes place in a court of law. Not by an elected official who owes many things to many people, and who would also have good reason to appease people. It just doesn't seem fair or just or in keeping with the American way.

So, would you support an ammendment that would take away the power to pardon from Presidents?

Where in scriptures does it say that babies automatically go to heaven because they haven't reached the so called "age of accountability" ? The word accountability isn't even in the bible!
The Bible is VERY clear about who gets into Heaven and who doesn't: John 3:3: "...no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
John 3:15: "...everyone who believes in him [Jesus] may have eternal life."
John 14:6: "Jesus answered: 'NO ONE comes to the Father except through me'"
Children, from conception, are sinners. And scripture says that an unsaved sinner cannot enter heaven. In God’s word this is immutable and unchangeable. Our emotions do not enter the equation. Read scripture and see the true state of babies – God does not see the age of a person who dies. He only sees their state. Children are sinners from conception therefore, they do not go to heaven. No one goes to heaven without Christ and the bible gives no exceptions at all. Deal with it. He is God.

There's the old argument that it causes heart problems, and even Eizo Shimabukuro, the head man of Shorin-ryu (Who likely learned his Sanchin kata from his older Brother, Isshinryu founder Tatsuo) says to train it while you're young, and then drop it for other kata when you get to a certain age.

On the other hand, martial artists like Seiko Toyama train Sanchin quite regularly and live long, healthy lives. I think the argument against Sanchin originated in the Shotokan camp many decades ago. I first read of it in a book by a Shotokan guy. Is there anything to this argument?

I know I sound spoiled and selfish but wouldn't u be the same way if ur parents never allowed u 2 have a life they hate all my bf's they don't let me live my life i.e: they dont let me go out at all they are soooo overprotective i know i'm only 17 but i'm already in college i graduated high school june 1st of this year. and plus my B-day is the 29th of Oct. i should be at least treated like an adult already even if its a little bit man!!!!! Hi, I'm looking at getting myself a .45-70. I've narrowed it down to the Marlin model 1895 and 1895G. The 1895 has a 22" barrel and the 1895G has a 18.5" barrel. Well my question is more centered around what is a "Guide Gun". The 1895G is a Guide gun, which I notice the shorter barrel, but what is the reasoning behind a shorter barrel and the name "Guide Gun". What are the differences between the two when you take into account ballistics, recoil, noise level etc? If someone could break me down the differences and the use/meaning of guide gun that would be great.

And then lastly, what would you suggest? I don't really have a singly purpose for the gun. Honestly, it probably see more occasional weekend target shooting then hunting.

I personally like the look of the Guide gun better (shorter), but I for one know not to buy a firearms just on looks.
