I work a lot and my husband usually cooks - he a hardcore carnivore and finds it difficult to cook for me. When I wasn't working and he was - I usually would make some meat dish for him a couple of times a week or take him out - but I knew what I was doing.

He's not that good of a cook anyway - but he tries ;)

So what are some good recipes I can give to him to try?

Notes:
He doesn't like cooking tofu, but will if it is simple
Looking for recipes for either grill or crock pot - it's too hot to use the oven!

its a vegetarian tortilla wrap with a carrot dip!

ingredients-
2 whole carrots
1 pinch salt and pepper
ettuce
1 tomatoe sliced
onion
tortillas
1/2 cup toasted almonds(optional if you want a crunchy wrap)
tofu
bell peppers (optional)

dip- dice the carrots. blend them till chunky or soft. add diced bell peppers (optional) add seasonings

wrap-
place lettuce,tomatoe onion and grilled tofu \ and any other vegatable you may like on the tortilla wrap it up.

just dip it and enjoy!
(if its for dinner id recomend you make 3)

Crock Pot Vegetarian Lentil Soup Recipe

This is a super-easy vegetarian crock pot recipe - just put all the ingredients in your slow cooker in the morning and forget about it until the end of the day. Lentil soup is hearty enough for a main dish, but you could always add extra veggies to make it even more filling.
INGREDIENTS:
2 cups lentils
4 cups water
8 cups vegetable broth
1 onion, diced
3 stalks celery, sliced
2 carrots, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp oregano
1 14 ounce can diced tomatoes
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
PREPARATION:
Stir together all ingredients in a crock pot. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.

Burger

2 slices bread
1 slice cheese
1 Boca Meatless Burger(u can get this at Whole Foods)
Veggies that you like-lettuce tomatoes onions etc

Method:
Warm up the burger on high in the microwave for 1 minute. Once the burger comes out put it on the bread and the cheese on top. Add the veggies and put the second slice on top. Serve and enjoy!
