Of course. Love to an animal is as little as feeding it. When you kiss your kitty bye when you go to work, he knows that you love him and when you love on him during the night, he knows you love him. Cat's are very smart, but the smallest things are love. Even just giving it a treat at a random time!! Keep on loving your kitty!

Absolutely. Cats know when they are loved and return the love. A cat does not stay where he is not loved. Even wild and abandoned cats know that they are loved by the other abandoned cats. That is why you will see a colony of wild and abandoned cats.

A few ways a cat shows affection is by purring, or leaving it's scent on you by rubbing it's head against anything, to claim it's 'theirs'. Like labeling something. When you pet it, or even when you feed it, it knows someone is there for them, and it's love. =]
Good luck with your cat! Mine are meow-monsters every time they see me....It's adorable! â¥

If you feed your cat and aren't abusive then, yes, your cat knows that you love him and he loves you.

yes of course the cat knows you love him, becuase it can know that by your affection and it tends to realize who will take care of him, such as feeding him, and cleaning his litter and combing him and playing with him, and he will learn that that is your love , and that you really do love him and that is why you are taking such great care of him because you lvoe him

Does he sit on your lap?
Does he purr when you are around?
Does he come to greet you when you get home?
Does his tail ever sit upright in the air and"shiver" when he is near you?
If you answered yes to one, or more of these then your cat loves you.
