It's already been established that teaching Creationist Science, Intelligent Design, or whatever name you want to re-hash your "Genesis" story as in a Government funded school is unconstitutional, so lets leave that point at that.

However, what I'd like to ask you is:
Why should an Atheist's tax money pay for the indoctrination of a religious pseudo-science (ID, CS, etc) which has no application outside the beliefs of the Christian Church?

And if you were wondering "Why should a Christian's tax money pay for the indoctrination of a science called Evolution which has no application outside the world of Science", it's because science is a universally accepted and successful process of deducing the world around us, at which religion has failed.

I'm sure everyone who has read Harry Potter has read about a character and was like 'Woah, I remind myself alot of him/her!'

That ever happen to you? If so, what character do you remind yourself of?

Me? - Ehm..haha. Well for starters Hermione. She's like the only girl of the gang. And she only seems to have like one 'girl' friend, Ginny. and I myself find myself hanging out without of guys. Also just like Hermione I'm really smart...not to brag but by 4th grade I had the reading level of a college kid.
Also Luna Lovegood. I find myself to be a bit strange every now then...=b No, I dont read magazines upside down...=b But sometimes I will wear odd clothes and say odd random things.
But all in all I find myself to resemble Tonks. I'm alwasy running around doing something for someone...and I'm clumsy...haha. I'm always dropping something or breaking something.
I also look alot like the girl who plays Tonks...except I have blondish brown hair...not pinkish. =b

Forget a girlfriend I have not had a date in 2 years and I am a virgin. I don't really think I am good looking so I guess that could be it but I don't really know. In the past when I ask out a girl it would only last maybe a week or 2 and I feel they went out with me because they felt sorry for me. I have more confidence now then I did in high school but still laking. I don't have too many problems with talking to girls anymore, but I still get nervous and don't know what to really say if I like a girl.
Is it because I am not good looking or just a lack of confidence, that I can't get a girlfriend? Oh yeah I am 19.

My ex was able to. He moved on from a 28 year relationship when he fell in love with somebody else. He turned stoned cold to me the day he told me he was leaving. And to this day he remains stone cold with no sign of the love he had for me. I look into his eyes and it's gone. For those of you who have been able to do this, how did you? It's been a year for me and the love is still there deep in my heart. And it causes me nothing but pain now.

My Dad wants to sell his summer home, but his brother and him are both on the deed. Unfortunately his brother died about 10 years ago without a will. There is only one immediate family member left on the deceased brothers side (a son) and we cannot locate him. Should we hire someone to find the lost son so we can give him half of the summerhome?

I'm 27, I have no job. I kept getting dead in jobs that were going no where. I could see myself literally going no where. I don't want to be an older adult woman unable to support myself financially. I don't have a degree so in looking for a job, I just have to get what I can get. I'm embarassed about not having a job. But I felt stuck, I want more. I wish I had gone to college at like 18 or 19. What should I do is 27 too late. I'm not a kid, I need a job. But I also need a future. And there's not much out here without a degree. Unless you luck up with a good paying job.

I know some people are just going to write a line or a phrase to get 2 points. But I'm talking about the people that write paragraphs and everything they say is stereotype or misconception and they are just way off the correct answer. That just annoys me. I mean I don't take the answers on this site seriously but there's nothing worse than someone who does not know jack trying to claim that they are an expert.

I really really want my google earth to work, but every time I try to log in, it tells me that they were unable to contact the servers to activate my account. They told me that a fire-wall or a norton personal security thing could be causing it- but I don't have those!

If this has happened to you, please please please help! What did you do to fix it?

I live in a 30 unit building with a prehistoric boiler and we always run out of hot water (doesnt matter what time of day or night) does it make sense to connect a tankless water heater before or after the boiler to better stabilize the hot water availability? does it maybe even make sence to have one before and one after the boiler? The buildings heat is also provided by the current boiler...
