I really really want my google earth to work, but every time I try to log in, it tells me that they were unable to contact the servers to activate my account. They told me that a fire-wall or a norton personal security thing could be causing it- but I don't have those!
If this has happened to you, please please please help! What did you do to fix it?

That's why I use Virtual Earth and NASA WorldWind. It's much better than Google Earth. Especially Virtual Earth.
NASA WorldWind has a much better UI than Google Earth.
Virtual Earth has more better maps than Google Earth.
So why bother with Google Earth?

I downloaded and installed Google Earth this morning and when I hit the icon it starts right up no log in needed. Could be preventing a pop up
