I want to become a business major with a concentration in Finance but everyone keeps advising me not to. I know a few people that graduated with Business degrees and they wish that they had changed their majors. I was told that it was hard to find a job or the jobs were low paying. SO, is it a bad idea to major in Business?

I rejoice in his perfect love, these kids deserved it don't you think?

From The Holy Bible, 2 Kings 2:23-24:

"And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them"

Hi guys, my mother and her brother inherited a home from their mother and my uncle wishes to sell, actually he sold the home yesterday. My mother is in a nursing home and the monies will go to the state and/or the nursing home if she does not disavow her inheritence. I do not have power of attorney for her and am her only child. Is it to late to put the paper work thru for the dis- inheitence?

What exactly qualifies as life? Would you consider Artificial Intelligence to be alive, assuming it was truly self-aware?

How do you feel about this and what is your religion's (or lack of) take on this?

I have a female betta whom, I believe, is about to kick the bucket. I hate watching anything die, she doesn't eat anymore and I often find her floating upside down or at the top on her side, then she swims a round and hides. This has been going on for about 3 days now. Do I just let her continue and let nature play it's role...? Her tank is clean and filtered.

The other day I walked out to the parking lot to our apartment building to see the 13-year-old girl I live next to having sex with a boy in his car!! I'm not close to her or her family, so I don't know how I could ever bring it up, but I'm concerned for her and scared she could get into some trouble. What am I supposed to do? This has got to be illegal to some extent right?

Hi, sorry to bother you, but I started out being a wiccan 3 yrs ago, and i was a solitary for that long. But i feel i must be with other wiicans, because I cant cast circles or cast any spells correctly, even though i constantly practice, and i always screw up, stutter when calling the quarters or casting a money spell, or praying. I just cant do things right and i feel i need a coven or a teacher to help me out.

Do you think i need a coven?

I believe in God but i also believe that evolution is fact and not some atheistic liberal plot to end religion....is there any actual proof (besides the Bible which is a book written centuries ago by people explaining God and not science besides i could site a book on evolution as proof because its a book too)....i have heard people say that creation is proved since we all have the same genes as Adam and Eve but i find that odd since one has the physical remains of there parable characters.... and doesn't it seem more likely that God could create the world through evolution..which is far more complex and inventive than the Genesis parable...please nothing like "because God said so" or "my religion says so"

I don't mean is it wrong in biblical terms - clearly yes.
I don't mean a feeling of attraction that leads to wanting to have a date & see how things go......

I'm talking about LUST. Someone you work with, stranger on the bus, lady in the street, a friend, your pal's girlfriend, etc

The feeling goes on & stays in your head ........ but is it wrong ?

I love my little sister dearly (she's 22) But its only a month away from my weding and the bachloette party has not been planned, no one knows whats going on. I havnt even heard any details untill my friend called and asked what was going on. The only thing everyne knows at this point is the date of the party. Thats it! I would be happy just to hang out with the girls at my place, nothing expensive! I don't need to spend money to have a good time. I have expressed time after time that I dont want anything crazy....I I have given her hundreds of ideas, non being expensive.Every month I ask whats going onand there is no set plan. My sister gets frustrated and gets angry at me for asking. I figured this was too stressful for her to handle and maybe to have the help from some of our family but she is too stubborn. She truley belives she does not need help, but does nothing at all. Iam tired of telling her (in a nice way)how much stress this is causing me and everyone. Whats left to do?

she treats me perfect in every way. I changed. 12 -13 years ago i realized i wasnt in love with her. we dont fight, nor do we have sex. Im simply not attracted to her. I have told her my feelings and she said she wants me 2 stay. I am her sole support, she has no family left besides mine. 1 child that is grown. i could remain here, as i have, but its really not fair to either party. on the other hand she doesnt want me 2 leave and from my point of view it will create an unfair and undeserved hardship on her. tried counseling but the fact remains i'm simply not attarcted 2 her. In the interest of honesty i am now not being faithful 2 her and know i wouldnt be in the future. She pretty much knows this, ( i stay gone ALOT and tell her i have a girlfriend) but she has pretty much a dont ask dont tell attitude. She makes no effort 2 find out where i am or who im seeing, never checks my phone and only ask me during an absence that im safe or ok. Is my happiness worth causing so much sadness

Someone I know lost a lawsuit to a small corporation and I believe that person now owes them around $10,000. If the corporation, which is legal entity, goes out of business (essentially dying) does that individual still owe the money to the nonexistent business? It would be like owing money to a dead person without any relatives... Well founded arguments and factual answers only please

What kind of dreams you had which may come true?
I once had a dream when i was like that i was in my building playing and stuff and then the world started to flood. Lickily i did not die. This weird tubelike thingy like from futurama sucked me up and it took me to an underwater city. I did not just have the tublike thingy. It was everywhere so it was like people were evacuating but the world flooded.
What kind of dreams you may have had?

As someone raised Christian (not practicing) I have always questioned "everyday" Christians and their morals/ethics.

My question is: If the Christ were to return - how would we recognize him/her?

It seems that everytime some one proclaims to be the "one" we lock them up as crazy or dismiss them because they do not "fit" our expectations. In any given major city there are a couple dozen homeless wanderers who believe they are the messiah - yet we brush them off. Does Christ need to PROVE himself to us? Or do you think, after 2000 years of his disciples studying his words, Christ would feel that our outlook would be different? That we would show more compassion and understanding to strangers and be more willing to follow someone who's not on TV trying to make big $$$.

What do you think? I'm interested.
