You would have to start by documenting all that has happened. Be very thorough, dates, time, who it was said to, who "overheard, etc. Every serious accusation must be carefully documented otherwise it sounds like "employees sour gripes". Have all of your fellow employees sign statements that they have direct knowledge of. If you don't have a union go directly to your local State/Federal,labor relations board with the documents. They will tell you your rights and how to proceed. H.R. is strictly pro-company and in most cases will cover the company's behind from any potential lawsuit. There is no reason for any employee to be treated as a second class citizen in these here U.S.A. Good luck and always have options.

Laborers Rights departments, state employment offices, the HR department of the company you work for, anyone who has a higher rank in the office than your supervisor.
You really want to make a statement? Ask around and see who else has been treated in a similar manner, and then call the local tips lines for your news stations. They will jump on it, I promise. I have done it a few times on things like this.
If all else fail, sue.
Women are not men. Mens bodies do not create and grow life, and their bodies never have to recover from such an endeavor.
It pisses the hell out of me when jobs treat women like that. You and your co worker have to do something about it.

Anyone who had a miscarriage would be able to get a doctors note with no problem, then your boss would not be able to do anything to her unless she is prepared to violate the law. Try either going over her head or talking to the State Division of Labor. She sounds like a monumental moron!!

The owner of the company/store. The person who holds office above your manager, whether that is a district manager or co-office manager.
Good luck!

I would suggest you all quit. No one should have to put up with that. If this person has someone over them I would definitely be going to that person and letting them know how things are being dealt with in your office. No one has the right to treat employees like that.
