This bill had a great many things in it besides that POS amnasty provision. Are there any elements of this legislation that are generally appealing to all sides.

I hate hearing how we need a "comprehensive" plan. Lets do the things that work, one at a time if needed.

For example, in an inning with already two out, a starting pitcher gives up 3 straight hits to get the bases loaded.
The coach had enough and called in a relief pitcher, but lets say he gives up a double and two runs scored?
Will the RP get 2 ERAs in his stats for a third of an inning pitched, even though its the starting pitcher who gets him into that hole in the first place?

OK, so I am moving in about a month. I have lived in the same apartment for five years, and have collected a lot of "stuff." Think about it. Despite what you hope happens in the 08' elections, there is a better than good chance that Bush's antics are going to cost the Republicans the White House. Are you going to be okay with a Democrat Administration being able to play the same games with Congress that Bush/Cheney does? Are you going to be okay with say Hillary Clinton using "signing statements" to inhibit Congress from asserting it's right to checks and balances? Are you going to be cool if say Bill Clinton refuses to turn over documents because he's suddenly NOT in the Executive Branch anymore? Because everything that Bush and Cheney get away with now will be acceptable behavior for adminsitrations in the future.

If so what are they? I am putting up like three 4' trees this year and my themes are Family in the family room (heirloom ornies), my son wants a Car theme (hot wheels and race track garland) and my daughter wants to incorporate all of her teddy bears (not sure how to do this yet but will get it figured out soon). SO was wondering who does and what they are and how they use the themes.

I'm currrently paying for Comcast Internet service @ 8 Mbps for $52.95

I can get Verizon DSL @ 1.5 Mbps for $31.99

I've heard that a lot of things affect the speeds and they aren't always as they seem (i.e. Comcast 5 times faster). Many things can affect the speed (how many other people are accessing the internet on your cable line or how far you are from the Verizon central office). Are the speeds really that different between the two companies?

Can someone shed some light? Opinions appreciated.

Baton Rouge, Louisiana is trying to either ban the "pit bull" breeds or severly restrict them. I'm trying to find as much as I can on all the positive aspects to the bully breeds to help stop this. The counsilman who is pushing this law is only targeting the "pit bulls" and no other dog.
