This kid is a great shooter and really good but his ball handling ability isn't that good. Anyone agree and why or why not?

He's 6'10 and can get off his shot when he needs too, what the hell do he need handles for, is game is pretty much complete now.

He's 6'10. His ball handling isn't supposed to be so great at that height. Give him a little time to develop further and this problem will be resolved. The best big ballhandler in the league, in my opinion, is KG, and with some work Durant can get to his level in that dept.

Honestly it could be better. But his skill set for a player that rangy is quite impressive. He sets his jumpshot up well off the dribble so its safe to say he can create his own shot. Its saying a lot that he can't out dribble KG though because KG is 2 inches taller, so yes there is room for improvement.
But I tell you this. Look at some of his highlights and watch how he gets his points. He's not overly powerful with his body, so he out quicks people with a decent first step and ballhandle thats pretty good considering his size. With that said, he has to have some kind of handle to have dominated the way he did.
He's got to improve in this area though considering its much tougher in the league to free yourself for a shot then it is in college. But I think he's up to it.

yah. we all know that he is a great shooter, but his ball skills arent bad either. he knows how to play with his back to the goal. as for crossovers, he ball handling could improve if he wanted to. but remember, this guy is a pf, not a sg or pg. i think he is good as it is. the only improvement he needs to make is his weight and power. his is 204 lbs and benches 180. if he wants to have his back to the board, he cant be pushed around.

i agree he is not a great ball handler, but his shot bails him out on many of the situations he gets in trouble with

if he cant dribble he can run fast breaks and just shoot no dribble
