I have recently had a thermostatic mixer shower fitted. I have a combination boiler with adequate water pressure. When I use the shower the water is either absolutely boiling hot or if I try and regulate it, freezing cold. I cannot seem to get a happy ( and comfortable!) medium. Any ideas??

Can I build it in stages?
So when finances permit me to do the next step, can I build over 5 or 10 years?
Example:
Say I have the money to Buy the block of Land today.
Ok I am building a Duplex - so 6 months later, I have the money to poor the slab for both sides of the Duplex. It then might take me 2 years to build the walls out of zego walls, then it might take me another 6months to build the roof, then another 2 years to Buy a Kitchen and Bathroom, then 1 more year to Finish the one side of this duplex.

OK now after I finish the one side of the duplex, It takes me 12 months to start the whole process again with the other side, in the same order and remember it is on the other side of the wall!!!

Land is in Bunderberg Qld

My gf and i have been together for 14 months, and at the moment things are amazing. we're both 24 and we've realised that in 5 years time we want very different things - she wants a family, I want to travel and have a career.

She's finished with her travelling and I'm only just beginning so this is something we can't seem to find common ground on. Also i am happy to have a family, but not for another 8-10 years.

What should i do? she seems to think we're doomed and that we should probably end it now and just be friends, but I dont know if i can give up the person I love the most in case things dont work out in 5 years.

I dont want to be selfish and keep her from doing what will make her happy.

Has anyone been in this situation before???

it would be a lot cheaper than building a 1,000+ mile fence, and much more effective. Considering all the crime, drugs, gangs, and possibly terrorists crossing there-maybe they should have a reason to think twice. After all-it is an international border isn't it?

Donnie's task throughout the film is to right the tangent timeline back on to its original path (i.e. make the jet engine land on and kill Donnie). What caused this rift in time to happen? Frank the rabbit called Donnie out of his room and gives Donnie his task which was caused by him in the first place! Another contradiction is that Frank comes to Donnie in the first place, which suggests that the tangent timeline HAD to happen or else where would Frank have come from. This suggests that the tangent timeline is actually within the main one, which is a bit of a contradiction. Anyone care to enlighten me?

It seems to me that it is pretty much pointless for atheists and theists to debate about religion because they aren't thinking on the same plane. Atheists demand facts and theists rely on faith, a concept that means nothing to atheists. The conversation just ends up going in circles and everyone ends up pissed off. So what's the point?

My fiance is struggling with credit card debt and can't do anything to pay it off. He keeps telling me they can't get money from someone who has none. Anyways someone made a phone call to him last night and said "if you do not call me back by 9 pm tonight I will take every legal action possible against you". Of course he called his family to ask for advice and then they said and have been saying that it's just a "scare tactic"... unfortunatly Im not sure anymore.

I have a 6 year old male Beagle. The vet thinks he should get his teeth cleaned due to the start of gingivitis. He eats dry Science Diet food. I vary his treats but they are all hard (Milk Bones, Dental Bone, and Greenies (not all in the same day :) ). I brush his teeth but not as often as I should. I really don't want to get his teeth cleaned since he has to go under and it doesn't seem worth the risk. I'm thinking a more frequent brushing will help eliminate the ginigivitis. Are there other vet cleansing options that don't require the pooch to be put under. Any advice would be great.

It seems the vet teeth cleaning seems overrated. Growing up my family had a Daschund and he lived to be 16, ate soft food and never had his teeth cleaned. My family currently has another Daschund, currently 14 years old, and again no teeth cleaning.

Thanks
MW

My grandmother passed away and I was absolutely appalled when my aunt pulled out her camera and told her kids to pose at the casket. How much more distasteful does it get than that? Am I overreacting or is that appalling to you too?

Bringing guitar on airplane?
Beginning of July I am flying from Maryland to Indiana and I have to bring my Fender strat (an electric guitar) with me. Theres no way I'm checking it through with all the other luggage and I am not shipping it and I am not going to buy one of those $300 flight cases. The only thing I can think of is for me to bring it with me actually on the plane and put it in the overhead OR put it where people hang garments and such.
So, question is... would they let me keep it in the overhead and would it fit?? Or would they let me keep in the closet? I'm not talking about a huge dreadnought. But this is a $1500 Ltd. Edition Fender Strat that belongs to my uncle, he's letting me borrow, so it has GOT to stay with me and stay in the best care possible! Thanks and God bless,

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to have a birthday party for my two brothers on Saturday, July 7th.

Here is the wish list:
Semi-private area or large enough space for people to be comfortable on a saturday (willing to pay for it)
Hip-hop music
Places to sit
Bar can accommodate 60 people.
Anywhere in Manhattan
No ridiculous door policy.

Attendees will be between 24 and 34 years old.

Thanks for the help! We're willing to compromise, so definitely send over any suggestions you might have.

The question was? Positive news out of Iraq...? The asker then detailed an article about positive news in Iraq. My answer was:

Here's my answer:
Question Details: Hey McCrevie, whether you choose to believe it or not, Fox News is as red as cnn is blue. I'm not disputing this article either way, but I spent a year over there and they DO NOT want us there. So no amount of good news is going to sway my opinion.
