Where to have a birthday party in Manhattan? for about 60 people on Saturday, July 7th?

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to have a birthday party for my two brothers on Saturday, July 7th.

Here is the wish list:
Semi-private area or large enough space for people to be comfortable on a saturday (willing to pay for it)
Hip-hop music
Places to sit
Bar can accommodate 60 people.
Anywhere in Manhattan
No ridiculous door policy.

Attendees will be between 24 and 34 years old.


Thanks for the help! We're willing to compromise, so definitely send over any suggestions you might have.

A great place to check out is 420 bar and lounge on 80th and Amsterdam. I used to be a bouncer there and they always had Bday parties there. They have a party room downstairs with 2 bars. check out www.420barandlounge.com

Places that I think can accommodate you on such short notice(for NYC anyway) are Lombardi's(great pizza & takes large reservations), Carmines(on upper west side) nice bar and good Italian food, Hilton Hotel Restaurant midtown(italian food), or Gabriela's(upper West Side) excellent Mexican food and great bar, but none have hip hop music. Gabriela's will let you use your own music in their party room. The Mexican place would be my choice first, if they have availability. Gabriela's phone number [phone] Good luck!!!

highly unlikely that you will be able to do this. You didn't plan ahead. Try having all your friends meet in one club, maybe webster hall.

just tell them denise sent you there for their fine pizza and that you need sets for all your people and he might can help you.
