of foreigners to this once great country.where i live it was a pretty nice neighborhood two years ago,sure we had crime but now its mugging by somalians and eastern european gangs flooding the streets with drugs.2 days ago a man got stabbed in his own home by a eastern european who was trying to burglar his house.i know this for fact as asked local copper who was standing outside house after said event.dont know about you but im sick to death of all the left wing mawkish tree hugging lets let everyone in brigade. isnt it time we closed our borders and please dont give me that we need them crap if you believe that your a fool the goverment just spin you the same crap as when they let in foreign nationals in the 60s and .there are plenty natives of this country who want to work but cant get employment because these people are taking there jobs.ive worked in the nhs and seen this for myself.and yes i know we have lazy toe rags who bleed our state to.so dont go there.

While we do not control our borders and permit foreigners into the country with out any police checks then there is bound to be an up rise in crime.
The world has gone PC mad, as you will find out from your replies and my thumbs down but if people would just take off their PC blinkers for one minute they'd realise that is not racism but simple mathematics !

I noticed that you mentioned Somalis....That is strange because Somalians are the BEST immigrant group we have in my city (Minneapolis Minnesota)...My wealthy white friends often joke that they would rather live in a Somali neighborhood than their own. Haha, a very large percentage of our Somali neighbors have college degrees and very much keep to themselves and their businesses. The problem that arose is between black americans and the Somali immigrants. The natives look at the Somalis as elitist and arrogant and the Somalis look at them as lazy/stupid/violent. It has escalated to the point where a Somali man was stabbed to death a few months ago on a city bus...I guess my point is that as far as immigrants go, Somalis have really been beneficial to our community not the other way around (I cannot say the same thing for other immigrant groups however...)

Sorry, I think I gave off the wrong impression with this answer. I just wanted to point out that we do have a horrible problem with immigration but in my case I just thought it was interesting that we had two polar opposite expirences with the same group.

I read your question with fright and with relief that I am in a part of the United Kingdom where our crime is so low it is unbelievable. In the past 25 years we have only had three murders and one stabbing.

We have so many foreigners here on the island that our culture has changed and with the change in law saying you cant smoke in a pub, club or public play (last 4 months), people being arrested for distrurbing the peace and minor fights have increased but not by much.

Our main town has security cameras and most people now behave when they go out for a night at the clubs and pubs.

I feel sorry for those parts of England that have to cope with the ever increasing rates of crime, and hope that it never spreads to where I live.

we caught a white burglar breakin in2 a cafe next 2 the pub we were drinkin in last night,before we let him go he said that he couldnt get a job cos of drugs and had to steal and beg.Most of the crime comitted on our estate,which has a high proportion of other nationalities is committed by white people who are too lazy to work,and it`s not a case of their being no work cos there is plenty they are just plain lazy.If they wont work what is so wrong about honest people from other countries working here?
