i have been suffering depression for a while now, my doctor just keeps giving me pills for it.
these make me tired and sleepy all the time, it is like he is not intrested in helping me get over this, i have tried talking to my family & friends but they seem to back off as if it is something contagious.
i want to get better, but feel so alone all the time, my life just seems so empty and pointless just now, is there any point in living.
in th last year i have lost eveything i loved and worked for,my wife, my kids, my career, my home and all my self respect.

I would like to know which trade off between the 5200+ vs 5400+ is better to have, for gaming and media purposes. The 5200+ comes with 2x 2.6ghz with 2mb L2 cache while the 5400+ comes with 2x 2.8ghz with 1mb L2 cache. So basically the trade off is more cache and .2ghz less speed or the .2ghz speed with 1mb less cache. Which is the better choice? Any help would be awesome, thanks!

My fiance and I have set our sights on getting married in the Fall of 2008. Now we just have to decide where! I want somewhere that has a beautiful, leaf-changing Fall. So far we are considering the Biltmore in Asheville, NC as well as a few places in Portland and Northern California. Any suggestions for other beautiful locations for a Fall wedding? ok i met this guy right and we started talking...he had told me that he's a born again Christian..ok fine..just as long as you are a Christian, i dont mind. we're geting close, but one huge problem, he is suddenly preaching to me saying that i'm in the wrong path and blah blah blah. i'm Roman Catholic, that's why he's saying that...he tells me that i need to find that right path for us to be together so of course i showed him the path to the door!...now he wants to be friends, but should i? this guy claims to be a Christian but he judges me by saying i'm in the wrong path which is not true, he's jsut saying that cause of my religion! that's not christian like!!!

If we weren't allowed to teach kids religion, it would allow them the choice. Most wouldn't choose a religion if they weren't born and raised with it, because they would be smart enough to not just accept their parent telling them it as proof. As less and less became religious, it would undo some of the restraints religion has brought on society. We would be allowed to advance more. But, The idea is unrealistic, for many reasons. I want to hear your opinion on the subject, though.

Questions:

1. What do you think would happen if the government actually decided to make it against the law to teach religion to children?

2. What do you think would happen if everyone followed the law? Do you think society would be better if everyone had the choice to choose religion, rather than having it forced on them as a kid? Do you think we would be more advanced in things that are viewed as wrong (Cloning, Etc).

Remember, all question are hypothetical, please don't answer with 'it wouldn't happen'.

the check i issued has been cashed, the "NPIC" states that it is being processed, I received an email saying that it is in Charleston SC Passport Agency-- I live in L.A.!
We called in on 06/07/07 to request for expedite.. the "NPIC" states that they'll fwd the information to the agency.. to date, we still don't have anything! =(
We're leaving next Tuesday! and we can't even schedule an appt for the agency here in L.A! We tried to contact the congressman for L.A. I don't know if they'll be able to help... are we just out of luck & out of our money because our tix are non-refundable?? or is there still hope?

Why do they talk over / advertise other shows / speed up / edit the end credits? There have been a few good films on recently which I record, copy onto a DVDRW to keep (no I'm not too tight to buy the DVDs, sometimes this method is good enough for me). It really annoys me when the end credits start to roll and suddenly they squish onto one side of the screen so the announcer can tell all about what's coming next (not as if we don't have magazine listings handy or onscreen listings).
I know it's a way to keep the viewer on that channel but it's just pigging annoying. I can remember when they rolled full listings with no voice-over at the end (how uncool eh?).

It idals ok, but when you put it in gear it starts to shake and jerk, then stalls, once you are over 30 mph it is fine. I have checked all fluids. I can't figure it out. Hopefully some one can give me some suggestions.

I want to take up skateboarding because a ton of cool people skateboard. but i'm embarassed to practace in my neighborhood because the only people that skateboard here are annoying little 8 year-old boys who are loud, obnoxious, and i don't really want to be seen with a pathetic crowd. I'm with that crowd enough??

They do no care about integration, it is all an excuse for them to hurl racist abuse toward people of colour, all shades and sizes. They are incredibly rude and mean to me. I was born here and they yell racial slurs all the time.I am fully integrated they ask me for curry and call me racial slurs. Yesterday i read that an indian doctor in my neighbourhood was abused for being nonwhite

A company provides a free online service that allows users to post text within a set format, and removes any content they find that violates several rules including content that is considered derogatory to specific groups or individuals. They then state that a post can be considered derogatory when refering to a group defined by race but exactly the same post is not derogatory when refering to group defined by disability. The company also perminantly banned a user from a portion of the site for posting a statement deemed derogatory, while maintaining that an identical statement about a disability group is not considered derogatory, and continues to uphold the ban on the grounds that the user took an acceptable statement and intentionally altered it until it became derogatory. Is this a violation of the ADA?

Note: if you're planning to respond that the ADA only applies to employment, you're wrong, and should consider actually reading the Act before answering.

Someone that knows both me and my ex-mother-in-law says that she was telling her that everything bad that has happened in the family is my fault.

She says that I have ruined her son, her granddaughter and my own life.

I left my ex-husband because he was abusive and controlling. Yet, she still blames me for all of the problems.

I know that I have not been strong and have promised them many times that I would come back and then did not follow through.

She also said that my brother does not want to talk to me and everyone is tired of me. My own parents have been the cause of all of the problems.

I don't think that she is right. I wonder if I was different (stronger and more assertive), I could have made our family life better.

I do worry about my daughter a lot though.

I am upset about my brother making comments about me to my ex-husband. I can't trust my own family also.
