I used sprays and washed them and kept my yard clean and the flies keep bitting my dogs ears. They are making the ears bleed and leaving scabs. Please help. Any advise will do. Thanks!!

Is it really worth helping people!? They seem to just forget 10 minutes later and even when they thank me it doesn't mean they really appreciate what I've done. I started out not wanting anything in return, but there's actually NOTHING given back and I always end up alone, I'd probably just be better off being a dick. Is it really worth helping people and if so why cos I'm really starting to doubt it!

I just wanted to give a shout out to teens who might be thinking about abusing over the counter cough medicines. Especially tablets. PLEASE don't. There have been six deaths here in Wisconsin in the past several months, due to the overdosing of cough medicine, that comes in the form of red capsules. Please...Moms and Dads, go on the internet, tonight, and talk to your children about the dangers. Kids are trying to get an alchohol like "high", and they don't realize how many pills is too much, because of body weight. Talk to them, please!

Richard Dawkins is a genius. He revoltionized the field of Evolutionary Biology with his book, the Selfish Gene. This book opened up biologists eyes as to how important genetics are to the evolutionary process. I think he is a very smart man who deserves a little more respect from the public. The scientific community has nothing but respect for Dawkins.

I recently accepted a job offer though a staffing agency...but the recruiter said I had to come by to fill out paperwork & that they would be running a background check. 12 years ago I was working at a convenience store & some money vanished. I've lived in the same county all this time, and I recently found out there is a pending felony charge for embezzlement. I've had several traffic tickets since, and this never came up. However, it is showing up on my background check. Is there a snowball's chance in hell I'll get hired? What would I do to get it resolved? A lawyer told me to ignore it, but I guess I can't. At the time, I took a polygraph and everything (I didn't take the money), so it's a mystery why that is out there and I didn't know until recently.

I asked why when ice crean melts it gets warm, but when soup gets cold, it gets very cold. He explained that they both reach a plateau of room temperature, which makes sense. But personal experience tells me that I am not completely incorrect (cold things get warm and warm things get cold). His argument appeased me at the time, but I cannot remember the details. Can anybody use science to prove me right or wrong? (My original major was physics, so feel free to use as much scientific jargon as you please!) Thank you so much!!!

Hubby and I have a 7wk old daughter and our anniversary is approaching. We haven't had a whole lot of quality time together since baby has been born (obviously) because she is the centre of everything. For our anniversary hubby would like to go out for a long leisurely night and spend the entire night away from baby. My mum would look after our daughter for the night while we "spent quality time together".

I've been separated from her for a few hours here and there with my mum as babysitter while i ran errands etc but never overnight! My mum and hubby think its a great idea - but i'm hesitant about leaving my daughter overnight. Not that i don't trust my mum but i've never really been apart from her in the whole 7wks - and shes my baby girl! I know the outing would do hubby and i a world of good but ... well shes so young and so little and i just don't know how i would cope not seeing her all night!

Thoughts anyone? Anyone else have the same misgivings? How did you go?

For the last few nights I have been dreaming of a river that I am absolutely afraid of (I'm not scared of water in real life). The water is not muddy but it is dark and even though the sun is out the water doesn't sparkle. There also is a semi-rough current. In the same dream my ex best guy friend is in it (I'm a girl). What could this mean? Does the water have something to do with my feelings for him?

i asked this before but worded it incorrectly. i understand not everyone agrees with everything the president has done but why such vicious attacks. there's a mature and professional way to voice your opinion, and everyone seems to forget that when Bush is the topic. i even had people attacking me personally just for asking the question.

okay there is this guy that was a teachers aid in my p.e class. i would see him everyday but i would never talked to him or had any intrestes in him. but this summer he told me he likes me and i was the only reason he came to class. theres a couple problems. 1st of all he seems kinda obsessive and too nice. i dont know why but i wish he would say something mean to me. HES JUST TOOOO NICE! it kinda buggs. the 2nd problem is im 15 and hes 19. he just graduated from my school and thats a huge age difference! im afraid to tell my other crush that i like him because if i hook up with him this guy will get hurt because every girl hes gone out with had cheated on him or treated him like ****. he told me that he would never hurt me and he would treat me like a princess. thats what every girl wants but do i want that? please answer!!!!!!!!

I posted a question an hour ago about why kids grow up straight if they are brought up right. It was in response to a reverse question as to why kids grow up gay if they are brought up right. A question raised by someone else, which I thought was really stupid, so I asked mine to make a point. But the responses I got showed that the people didn't read the entire question and thought I was being against gay people, which would be rather odd since I'm gay myself.
