Go to the doctor, because it might have been a brown recluse. They cause black lesions. It's always best to get it checked out.

I just did a ton of reading on spider bites, and from what I've read, one of the only really worrisome spiderbites in the US is by the brown recluse. Even black widow bites aren't nearly as harmful as I'd previously thought.
It sounds like it might be infected; that would certainly be cause for worry and would merit a trip to the doctor. I wouldn't mess with some over-the-counter remedy...nor have I ever found a pharmacist who was much help (I'm not sure if they can legally offer a "diagnosis" anyway) in that regard.
Since it's Friday, I wouldn't waste anymore time; call the doctor!

how do u know u got bit by a spider.
if you didnt see the spider I would go to your doctor and make sure you dont' have a Staph infection.
Staph infections present like a spider bite, but are not from spiders. They are treated with antibiotics that you take by mouth, not a cream.
go to your doctor and get it checked out. you may have a stinger in you from a different insect.

I would get it checked out if it has lasted that long. Wolf spiders among others can be very painful especially if you are allergic. Try benedryl topically

Some are venomous and the venom could be slow acting. It would be good to check with the doctor just to make sure you are fine.
