I was just wondering.... I have a friend who was my former teacher and ever since the semester ended, we have talked through email all the time. We have also gone to lunch a couple of times since then. She is pregnant and married. She told me to call her by her first name by implying she wants to be friends and she actually got me and my b/f started on a hobby that her and her husband do. Well anyway.. I think she she is a really good person and I would really like our friendshipto progress into where we become better friends as in that I mean talking on the phone and visiting each other at our houses and stuff like that. Well I am unsure if she wants to be friends like I do and I kind of wanted to ask her where she "stood". I dont know how to ask her though w/out seeming rude or ruining anything to where she got mad and never spoke to me again. Does it seem like if i kept on.. we might become good friends??What do you think?

Today I turned 18 (which means no limit on when I have to be home as far as drivers license goes) and my friends invited me to go over and play poker. My mom said I should be home at 1 since my license only allows me to be out as late as 1, but once you turn 18 in my home state, there are no more limitations but when I informed her of this she said still be home at 1. I got home at 1:15, and I hit lots of red lights even though there is NO traffic on the road (and she doesnt believe me about this). I have a VERY good track record with times and this is a first that I'm late, but its 15 minutes not an hour or two. When I got in at 1:15, my brother and mom met me at the door and my mom said she's going to have a talk with me tomorrow. My parents are fairly harsh and will probably disallow me from going out with friends for the month and probably the rest of the summer. Mind you, I'm an honors student going to college on scholarship full scholarship. I am not a low-life. Is this unfair?

Im a 18 year old male.Im 6,1.5ft and 243lb.I work out jug,swim,and lift weights.I have baby fat with muscles.The baby fat is the reason why my muscles arent difined so i look like a power lifter or wresler but for sure not a bodybuilder.Shold i gain muscles and weight over the fat,shold i stay the same weight and build muscles over the fat,or shold I lose my fat and weight?Im not realycompeting i wana just look like a bodybuilder.What to do

I am having a difficult time coping with all of this my mother has been sick with various problems with a initial onset of dementia and multiple obstructions and surguries in her life she went to the hospital after a terrible stay at the nursing home where they were not maintaining her properly thus she was in kidney failure I made them call the hospital they came and the ER doc made a mistake when he tried to get a central line long story short she coded on the table and they brought her back and she suffered a great deal now unable to walk and confied to a wheelchair with inoperable cancer. She got terribly worse over sev eral long months and now she is dying I took care of both her and my grandmother who just passed four months shy of her 100 b-day I am extremely close to both and I am the strongest of the family and no one else seems to come or care. How can I get through this??? To make things worse I am disabled.

because people are over-reacting about it, that they accuse other people as racists as if racism is a criminal offense? racism, in my opinion, is just simple opinion about other race, so what's wrong with it?

and if I may add, it's an idiotic belief that there's no such thing as race, because there is, and don't tell me that there's on one race, which is the human race, because it's crap.

For example, some people have smooth skin but others don't. And by "other's don't" I don't mean acne or stuff like that. I'm talking about different skin textures. Do they exist? Because my skin is not smooth, yet I don't suffer from acne. My skin looks like I'm cold/goosebumps (tiny dots) all over.

First off, all I really care about is the child's health and safety. But, I'm fighting with my fiancee over the name of our baby. I don't want to, but she agreed before she got pregnant. Now she changed her mind. I wanted to name my kid this name for 10 years now and was really happy she agreed. What a let down. How should I deal w/ this?

I'm on the computer a lot, and I have really bad carpal tunnel in my right (dominant) wrist. For the most part, it's just really annoying and stiff sometimes, but when it flares up (like its doing now) it absolutely kills. I try and wear my brace when I remeber to, but a lot of the times I dont. And also, I have to take it off when I type or else I can't type very well.

Is there anything I can do to help the pain? I'm a teenager, so big expensive bills and surgerys aren't really an option. So anything cheap and easy is good. Thanks in advance!

what would happen if i put salt down the barrel of my co2 powered bb gun? would it be effective to ware of dogs? would this hurt them? i am scarred to walk becuase there are always dogs.

how about rock salt? where would i get it?
