Longing.
I believe in life on other planets and I wish they'd come here, or that I'd be able to go be with them wherever they are.

The last time I glanced at the sky I felt small, but I also felt like I have a place in that vastness. That I am here, in this place in the universe for a reason.

Wow! I was never the same when I looked into the stars for guidance. The beauty and vastness of space gave a sense of belonging that we are indeed a process of creation. I had sensed a role for our doing on earth. It is a chance delivery in what constitute our career path on earth. Rich or poor is entirely our doing. No such thing as faith or destiny that binds our lives, but chance being the essence that will see our lives in happiness and sorrow. However, we have to work for our success instead of hoping for an easy way out.

I feel melancholy. As I sat and looked at the little stars, I felt a little sadness in my heart. Maybe because I was by myself and everyone else in the house was asleep. You always do feel sad when you're alone. Anyway, that was how I felt the last time I looked up to see the stars. There wasn't many that night, just little dots that twinkled back at me. I was also looking for the moon but it was nowhere in sight then I remembered that it was last quarter three nights earlier.

I live in a rural part of northern MN. When its clear you can see the Northern Lights and tons of stars. Sometimes when I look at the stars I think about other people, in other places looking at the same stars and what they're like.

I felt we are also just one part of the galaxy.
Our better and bigger part is there up in the skies and the bitter one is here in the land of earth in the name of homosapiens, destroying the entire planet just for its survival, like a cancer cell.
It would've been better to have born as anything else other than man.COz we would have been a part of the Ecosystem.

Excited. To think of the possibility that one of those stars could be a solar system containing intelligent life. And that maybe. Just maybe. They are looking back at our solar system at the same time.

I was reminded that so much is possible - the world is an amazing place . . . but once you're inspired, you have to stop checking out the stars so you can get out there and make it happen!

When I gaze at the stars, the sheer magnitude seems to realign everything into its proper perspective, and I admire their absolute beauty.
