Trade 1: Pull that trigger! L.T. has proven consistency at RB position and is undeniably the #1 RB, as well as the #1 fantasy player overall. Brees is unlikely to repeat his performance from '06 and you should be able to get another QB of equal caliber (top-10, but not top-5), or pick up from waivers a QB sleeper who gets hot (like Brees did last year.) Unless your scoring system is wacky, a top-10 RB is usually worth more than a top-5 QB. In most leagues, you start 2 RBs vs. 1 QB, which makes good RBs twice as valuable. Also, since this is a keeper-league, L.T. has more good years left over Brees. Even though Smith is a good receiver, he still has an inconsistent Delhomme throwing it to him, and good/decent WRs are much easier to find in your draft or waiver wire since each NFL team has at least 2 starters.
Trade 2: It's difficult to advise you without knowing your scoring system, but I'd pass on the trade. Team D's are so unpredictable from year to year, you're better off keeping Jones & Barber with CAR. Do you think BAL, plus your (probably lesser) replacements for Jones & Barber will score more points than what you already have? Good luck!

Here's the thing to think about with trade one! Will the Chargers in week 15, 16, & 17 be so far ahead in the division standings that LT won't need to play? It could possibly happen because they are a more experienced team now. LT is by far the number 1 player in fantasy football but him possibly not playing in the fantasy playoffs can really hurt you esspecially if you relied on him all season. It also depends on who your other QB and WRs are! If your satisfied with your other QB and WRs then go ahead and trade otherwise don't do it!
Second trade NO! Defenses are easy to come by!

If you have another QB then I would go w/ trade 1. Make sure you leave yourself a good QB. Trade 2 is more difficult. Jones was great in Chicago and will be the best option in NY, but the Jets are not conducive to a great year. Personally, I'd do em both. Good Luck.

dont do either of them. even if youre getting LT, your giving up two very good players. for the 2nd trade, a 3 for 1 trade in this situation is risky. who knows how lewis will be this year. remember the ravens lost adalius thomas. you should change to a qb or wr that isnt as good for the first one. definitely do not do the 2nd one. the 1st trade is a 60-40 trade for the other team just b/c the value youre giving up.
this is just my opinion

Do both trades. And after you do. Slap the MORON that would give up L.T. for anything. Don't slap the Bmore D owner, unless it's the guy that gave up L.T.

GET LT. Most championships won last year had him on the team.
