Sandstorm, does your mom let you out of the basement after you've clipped her toenails?

I'm not a maid, and if I were I'd demand more than ice cream. If my husband treated me like an "obedient" servant I would be offended. To each, their own, buy I find the apparent type of women you are attracted to extremely disgusting! And a man who behaves as though he is her master is utterly repulsive.
This question, along with your others leads me to believe you need a woman who would know how to put you in your place. Knock you down a peg or two (or three). And if you were in my family.... if I couldn't do it myself, my brothers would do it for me. But you know what, they'd never have to, because: 1) I wouldn't be caught dead with a man like you and 2) if I made a horrible mistake and somehow was married to someone like you... well, you know what? A man's gotta sleep some time; and that's when he'd meet up with the the fury of THIS woman.
Have a nice day.

My man bring home treats for me and the kids when the budget allows.
He'll bring home a soda for me and the pop the kids like....
He'll pick up a candy or a bottle of juice I like...
One time I got a Yankees jacket I had said I'd liked months before....
He'll come get my car from me at work and wash it and return it if he has the day off...
It just depends on the budget. But I have to say, when he has the money, he likes to spoil us.
He's never said there was any qualification for his generosity. I think he does it out of love.

No. He takes me out because he wants to, I want to, because we agree to go out. When will you stop making women sound like dogs that have to be trained and rewarded?
I keep thinking, Sandy, that after all these months you would "get it" but you just keep going on with this attitude of women being slavish. Of being needed to be "trained". Do you think men don't need to be trained as well? Just because you have outties does not make you any less in need of training than us innies.
I am beginning to think you want a child/woman in terms of mentality, not a complete woman who loves her man, accepts him as boss, but knows she is a full competent human being alone.
A man who is secure in his masculinity wants a woman to complement him, be his other half, not just a servant with no ability to think for herself.
You seem to want an incomplete woman who is happy to cuddle with her teddy bear and not have an original thought in her head unless it is a new embroidery pattern or a new way to cook pot roast.
We got ice cream treats when we were children. Every Sunday if we were good on the long drive to church we got a treat. Since then, I have bought my own treats. All other such shared with my partners have been just that, enjoyable sharing with a partner.

I take myself out for ice cream, coffee, etc., regardless of whether or not I've done some sort of household chore.

Fortunately I have never been in a position where I have had to rely on a man for "treats'.

That is all you get for being obedient? I am glad I am not, then. I get so much more, like a real relationship with a REAL man.

Yes. He bought me a swimming suit yesterday and some pear bubble bath. However I can honestly say hearing him say I love you is better then any gift he has ever given me.

Your questions never cease to amaze me Sandstorm... I'm not obedient to anyone. I just love him. And yes he still takes me out. Do you ever expect to get any type of genuine respect from the one you love if you only see her as inferior to you?

No, and personally I would be offended if he did. If he does something like that I want him to do it because he loves me not because I keep the house clean!
