I am the mom-to-be's friend who was asked to do the baby shower. Of course I said YES! But, is it okay to ask her family for some help financially to make this wonderful for her? And how do I do this? Call them?

Ok for the pure of of having a church or maybe for the humor that goes along with making the fundies mad here is the latest on my church. Here are the rules for the House Of Max Power. 1) Sundays are spent watching football or whichever sport is on at the time. 2) Screw the starving etheopians the money donated to the church will go mainly for beer oh and condoms for people in 3rd world countries who have 10 kids. 3) You will pray to nobody and enjoy life. 4) Church bingo night will be replaced by a holy game of poker winner is "blessed" in a beer bath instead of holy water. 5) We have recliners instead of hard wood benches. 6) no kids allowed 7) More ideas...good ones only. This would really be a fun house but by calling it a "church" we won't have to pay taxes. 8) Choir books are replace by Hustler or Playboy. 9) The confession room is now the lap dance and pole danceing room. 10) Freaky girls can wrestle in the "Holy Beer Pool". Pancake fundraisers are now steak and shrimp Saturdays.

For almost a year now I have been binge eating. Now I'm 8stone 7 pounds- and 5 ft 5 (but very small boned- my ankle is less than 20cm around it).
My Mum started when she was 12, my Auntie when she was 14. I'm really worried- because internet sites says that you should start 3 years after the onset of puberty. Is this true? I started puberty at 10 but grew REALLY slowly. This last year though- I've put on a lot of weight- like 2 stone. Could binge eating be causing me not to be getting my period? I eat at least 1800 calories a day, and over 3500 calories when I binge. (I never purge).

We have 3 kids under 5. We have done some of the big name vacation the past few years. We are planning on going some where again before the year is out but want find someplace with out an adult sized taking mouse, 50 ft water slides and 200 people every 10ft. All we can think of are the places you see the ads for on TV every summer and those are just the kinds of places we are trying to avoid this time. Anyone know of a slow paced enjoyable family ( with you kids) vacation spot that is not so commercial.

Two gunmen on a motorbike have killed two school girls and wounded six others as they left their school south of the Afghan capital, Kabul, officials say. The attack in Logar province came at about midday as pupils were leaving. Officials say the gunmen waited for the girls before spraying bullets into the all-girl school and escaping. It is not clear who carried out the attack.

Yeah, only Taliban or Al Queda are this low.

Mitch just watched the 2007 NBA Finals and thought, "We need Tony Parker." And since keeping Kobe will eventually cost Mitch his job, he decides to trade Kobe too.

Smush Parker, Kobe Bryant, 2nd round draft pick for Tony Parker, Robert Horry, and Francisco Elson.

Parker for Parker
3 rings for 7 rings
2nd round draft for Elson

I know Mitch definitely would take this trade. But if you were GM of San Antonio, would you take the trade?

I'd say, "Hell no to Kobe."

I just broke up with my boyfriend because he used me for his sexual advances and I realized it. I did not lose my virginity to him but he has gone further than making out with me. Now I feel really used and physically sick. What are some ways I can get over this?

After reading a "Pros" and "Cons" write up about his new movie, Sicko, it appears that he is trying to do again what he tried with Ferenheit 9/11: to broadcast to the world that the USA is a bad and unfair country, while he makes hundreds of millions of dollars.

That grumpy old knight, my tail it will slash.
And my breath full of fire, will turn him to ash.
Don't let that old man
Wrapped in his tin can
Defend your honor, when I can do so with panache.

To me it was Simon Peter, i realy loved the part where God helped them with so many fish when previously they could not get any and seeing that Simon said "I am a Sinner". I thought that was really humble and honest of him.

I think I probably know the answer, but just need to hear it from someone else. My fingers are crossed. Today is day 21 and twice when I wiped, there was very faint brown swirly stuff and faint pinkish as well. The only reason I'm not 100% sure that I'm pregnant is because I had sex on day 6 but didn't ovulate until day 10, so I figured the chances are slim.

I've just lately taken a real shining to classical music, and my collection is quite pathetic. I'm going to expand it and would love some recommendations on what to include. I should say that I already have quite a bit of Mozart and Beethoven, and am looking for something heavier, like Wagner's later operas. Any suggestions?
