i've got loads of I.T homework due in tommorrow. does anybody out there know what a web query is, a length delimited file, a dynamic link, a linked cell or a goal seek (from microsoft excel) is? can you tell them to me please. I will select as best answer for --- the best answer. Thankyou!

oh yeah, and dont just put "it is a lengthy file that deliminates" because I wont be convinced.

I don't think the phrase "length delimited file" actually exists, but I think what the teacher means is a file where each field has a fixed length - in contrast to something like a comma-delimited file where each field is variable length but is separated from the next by a comma.

Presumably a web query is a way to get dynamic data for your spreadsheet via the web, rather than from a local database. I think a linked cell is a cell which takes its value from another cell. Can't help with the rest, sorry.
