I feel so sorry for Laura. She has a brain yet she isn't allowed to do anything any more interesting than to smile adoringly at George, because her role is to be the perfect Republican Wife. How sad. She must be horribly bored. I notice the "press" never followed up on the story of her moving out, to the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, in an angry rage against George over some of his failings as as a human being.

Laura is kind of a quiet first lady. I bet she's the cool calculating type that will kill someone in their sleep one day and get away with it.
