I know I'm not the only one thinking this. Why don't people these days name their kids regular names? I see so many people on here asking advice on their kids names, and I swear it's never even a decent list they put together.

It's like, "I'm having a boy, I was thinking about naming him Hunter or maybe Sterling!" And, all I can think is, "Yeah, that's great. If you want him to be the lead character in a cheesy romance novel!" Or for girls, "Kylynn, or maybe Sierra!" And, I'm thinking, "This kid's career choices are going to be stripper or flight attendant!"

Was your name so bad? Did growing up just another Jessica REALLY get to you that bad you have to start making up new names, or spelling normal ones weird ways? Guess what, it's KAREN not CARRIN.

I have a great name, and I RARELY come across it any where else. Gwendolyn. Beautiful, classic, something I could be president with if I wanted.

I'm just saying, there will never be a president "Oasis." Don't scar your kids for life.

well, i have this "friend" and i was over at her house with 2 guys and well my friend went w/ the other guy and left me w/ him... and i gave him a bj, i dont like him, i dont no why i did what i did, i dont talk 2 him! now every time i see him in the hallway its so wierd!! now that girl i was w/ will tell the entire school about that night if i dont hang out w/ her!! i dont like ther any more b/c she left me alone!
how do i get over it i no it was a mistake and now i cant stop thinking about it! what should i do about her?? i really dont want 2 hang out w/ her! help plus i really dont want my parents 2 find out im only 16!!

I have a question in regards to what to where (I mean what type of Bra) when exercising especially when running or jumping rope? I mean to say what kind of bra I can wear so that my br***t won’t be jumping up or down while exercising. I receive a lot of computer and electronic equipment packed in Styrofoam peanuts and I hate to just throw it away if I do not reuse it in shipping. Is it recyclable? Is there someplace to take it? Is it worth selling? Is Styrofoam in general recyclable, or does it break down in 300 years or so? I am not a complete tree hugger by any means but I hate to throw stuff out that can be legitimately reused. Thanks for any help.

9 years ago I lost a business because of a disability an at the time I was single and my finances forced me to not be able to pay a few credit cards ,now they have sold out to some company that has wrote me a letter saying I owe them ,I am still diabled an do not have the amount they say I owe ,isn't there a limit on years of collecting a debt?

I'm attracted to my doctor. He's a loving caring kind giving man. The problem is I have a fear of rejection, and would feel not ony embarrassed but crushed if he told me he was in a relationship. I feel our energies are in sync and sometimes I feel he wants to say something to me but is holding back. He is also my surgeon(I recently had surgery) and I have one more post-op appt. with him. I thought I could send him a thank you card and put my phone number under my name. Do you think I could use the card to ask him out or would my phone number convey the message? You witness a felony is progress... ie: a rape, attempted arson, burglary, etc.
You are not a Police Officer.
You challange the suspect with gun drawn. The suspect does not comply when you tell him to get on the ground but does not attempt to approach you. No matter how many times you repeat the command, he just stands there.

Do you:
Fire a warning shot into the ground to show your intent?
Back off and holster your weapon?
Leave the scene and call the Police? (no cell phone)

My brother left our house a few years ago, and he won't take my calls, it's odd. I don't think he hates me, but I'm not sure why he won't answer when I call. I mean, even talking to him in person seems like a chore to him, when I do see him. He barely speaks! Maybe he's just self conscious because he stutters a bit, and is depressed.
My problem with him, is that when he left, he went to go live with our abusive alcoholic father, who spoiled him rotten after the divorce, to literally buy his favor. He still does it because he bought my brother a house! The kid's never had a job in his life, and he has a house already. Mind you, his Dad still drinks like a fish so he's gonna die one of these days and this kid has no real life experience at all, and he's gonna have to deal with all of that. I think he's expecting our Mom to help him with it, which she probably will. Sorry, Im ranting again. I am gripey about some things with my brother, but he's still my brother, I wish he would pick up

I am ordering a new application/file server and I am wondering how a Dual Core Intel® Pentium®D 925, 2x2MB Cache, 3.0GHz, 800MHz FSB compares with a Dual Core Intel® Xeon® 3040, 2MB Cache, 1.86GHz, 1066MHz FSB. I have minimum requirements of a Pentium D 2.8 GHZ, will the xeon meet this? From what I have read I believe it will, but specifics would be appreciated. Thanks!
