I'm attracted to my doctor. He's a loving caring kind giving man. The problem is I have a fear of rejection, and would feel not ony embarrassed but crushed if he told me he was in a relationship. I feel our energies are in sync and sometimes I feel he wants to say something to me but is holding back. He is also my surgeon(I recently had surgery) and I have one more post-op appt. with him. I thought I could send him a thank you card and put my phone number under my name. Do you think I could use the card to ask him out or would my phone number convey the message? Please let me know if you have any advice or tips I could use. Thank you.

don't put your doctor in that position... don't do it.. he will reject you if he values his medical license.. it's a NO WIN situation for both of you.

well may be you don't have to tell him right away, you can start by telling him that when you test it with other doctors its normal but with him its up. and just compliment him tell him maybe its because his good looking you know just be open about it. you may be surprised at his reaction. however if he doesn't show interest in you don't take it in any way that's just life you win some, you loose some

Hi baby how is it going sweetie it's da diva here honey and well dear If he is a doctor then more than likely he must be taken either married or if he's not married then he is in a relationship with some one if he is then you know to back away because she could be crazy or something but if he isn't taken or have a girlfriend or something you just give him hints, clues, and also signs to show him and let him know how you feel but he he still doesn't get the picture then just come out and tell him how you feel and just relax and see how it goes from there. lol by the way good question . got to go baby love ya smootches da diva.*

You are looking for trouble . Most likely he has a wife or soon to be. Besides it is highly unethical for a physician to have a relationship with his patient.

I think you should ask him out in the thank you card!
If you just give him your number, he might not bother to call you. But if you give him a reason to call you (such as would you like to go on a date with me? please call me and let me know) then he would be more apt to! Thats just my opinion though!
P.S. Good Luck!! =)

Doctor's are not permitted to date their patients.

I would tell him, "I think I may need to find a new physician because I find myself attracted to you." If he feels the same, he'll give a list of referrals.

You don't tell him. That puts him in a bad spot. It's unethical (and awkward) for a doctor to date a patient.
