As a Christian, I believe you've been reading Revelation with no education concerning the Book.

Revelation is not to be taken literally. It is a group of letters to churches of the time, using code words which would be known only to the believers. We no longer understand the meanings of these words or know the idioms of the time.

Revelation was written by three different people who were attempting to change the actions of the churches.

I firmly believe Revelation should not be a part of our current Bibles. I think the Council of Nicea made a terrible mistake by placing it in the Canon.

If you believe in Revelation, then study the purported signs for the end of times.... you will find that NONE of the signs have come to pass. All the signs that people say are happening have been going on for centuries. The only reason we know more about them is our continuing advances in mass communications.

Blessing to your house

Ever since time began it has been getting closer to the end. What has a start has an end, But if you look at the Bible many things that have been told can only fit today and the future as never before could every one see the two angles who are to speak in the Holy land, this is with the net , TV, Phone Pic and so much more. Also it talks about the the 7 hills and the beast and the harlot all forms of words that mean something just as we use words to describe things today. And many of these things are close to things we see today just as many people through time have felt this in their time. Only God has the truth on this so do not worry unless you live a life to worry about as when each of us where conceived we where one day closer to our own end time.

The Essenes were living in the end times during Masada. The Romans were living during the end times. (and as a matter of fact their empire did end!) Every eight to ten years, some group gathers on a mountain and waits for the world to come to an end. They sell all of their possessions, sometimes they have a party with it, sometimes they break out the poisoned kool-aid, and sometimes they just burn everything they have, but they all get together and wait for the end. There are counselors who now specialize in bringing people (the ones who survive) back from their states of depression when the world does not actually end. I am not saying that the world will never end, and I am not saying that people are fools for following GOD, but I will say that people are fools for following people. This whole end times nonsense is directly against the teachings of Jesus. Live every day as if it is your last, and plan for the future as if it isn't. Jesus didn't teach us to stand up on the hill and wait to be picked up. Jesus taught us to be responsible for one another (especially those widows and orphans) and that we were responsible for the world that we live in and all of the creatures on it. Anyone who is living for the end times is ignoring the parable of the talents. Don't you dare waste the talents the the lord invested in you. GOD expects a profit, not for you to bury that talent under a rock, or haul it up a mountain and burn it in effigy because some false prophet said that Jesus is returning at some certain day and we all have to be standing there with him or her to get on board the old gospel train.

First of all, take the monarchism out of the Bible, then get a real translation (one that includes the definitions of all Four of the Greek words for love just for starters) then learn what the word Apocrypha means. Revelation was written as a warning for early Christians who were being persecuted around the downfall of Rome. The early translators didn't even get the number of the Beast right, and most scholars now agree it was Caligula. that is not to say that Revelations has nothing for the future. All good things come in threes and all that, but stop trying to tie it to the end of the world. The end of the world will happen in GOD's time, in GOD's way, and face it, we haven't been paying attention to GOD much lately. Stop worrying about the end times and start worrying about the end of your time. Were you a good steward of the earth? Did you invest your talents wisely? Did you show love or condemnation (like the words above) during your time on earth? Did you leave the place a little better than you found it, or did you trash the place, figuring it would all be blown away anyway? If you are the Lord's Generation, then stop talking the talk and start walking the walk!

Yes, if the word of God is one of the following:

1. Honesty
2. Guiltless
3. Shameless
4. Needless
5. Loving
6. Unity
7. I'm not better than you for what I believe, and I respect what you believe.

Okay now go spread the words of God.

Here is what I think. I think that all of you followers of the work of fiction called the bible are manifesting the end to the world by constantly focusing your thoughts on it. You need to wake up and realize that if you focus your thoughts and beliefs on something other than the lies you have been fed, then maybe we have a chance for healing our home and all that live in it. Don't you think that God would want that for us and his magnificent creation? If you don't YOU are truly lost on the lessons you were supposed to learn in this life. You are just another brainwashed zombie.

end times or no times gospel should be preached always because whether we are in end times or no end times people died and they that die without JESUS in there lifes will be rejected.

JESUS loves you.Have u recieved JESUS for the forgiveness of your sins?

John 3:16[kjv] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

so when we believe in JESUS we have eternal life.JESUS lived a sinless life and gave up his life as a sacrifice so we can be sin free. Ask JESUS to come into your heart and forgive ur sins and cleanse ur past with the blood JESUS shed on the cross.

With a simple prayer like above u can be saved.JESUS loves u and wants u to be saved.

Many people don't realize this. God gave us a green earth to live on and look what we're doing to it. You think gods happy? he's disappointed. We're causing global warming. You see all these disease on the news, you think they're just there? No. See there is more death than ever in our past. See the climate going hay-wired. Listen up PEOPLE! Things happen for a reason. read your bible, go to church, love, give, peace, clean up the earth, stop messing it up, stop being bad.

Yes I believe so. and it is our duty and privilege to spread the Good News about Jesus that He died on the cross for our remission of our sins. We have to realize that we cannot save ourselves, only HIm. He is the only Way to Heaven. He is the Way, the TRuth, and the Life. Without Him, we are nothing. Only through HIm that we can achieve peace and unity. Let us turn to Him (only), not to false prophets which are mushrooming now. Indeed, the Bible is true about the coming of false prophets. Read the Bible.

I think that we arent living in the end times, and that the end times may even be a ploy made up by some pastor years ago to scare people to coming to church and being christian. On that note i am a christian and a die-hard one at that. Yeah the world is in bad shape, according to some people. Look around you, look what we have in the news, I sat on my couch all day and watched Paris Hilton get sent back to jail, the world cant be too bad off if we can watch stuff like that all day. No i dont think we are in the end times, the world is too calm, and The Revelation of St. John the Divine, at least according to the Left Behinde series, which is FICTION, is not happening now

Is bad spelling a sign of the endtimes?
Other than that, I don't really think we are. Every generation for the past 2000 years has thought they were in the endtimes. Yet here we all are.
