He is getting IV fluids with electrolytes, but we know he doesn't want a feeding tube. He is in his 70's and has a myriad of cancers (lung cancer included) due to radiation treatment he received several years ago. He had a pretty massive stroke a few days ago and also has a staph infection (MRSA) He isn't in pain (he has limited communication). Does anybody know what we can expect in the near future as he nears death?

I am a college student moving in to a new apartment in June. I need a TV, and I would love to have an HDTV since I like playing video games. I can only spend a few hundred dollars, but I would prefer a TV that is larger than 20". I don't care whether the TV is refurbished or new, as long as it works. The world of TVs is (apparently) a complicated one, and it didn't take me long to realize that I need help! Thank you to anyone who has any information for me! :-)

Today my sister was over with my nephew. My nephew is 3 years old and, it being my birthday, they came over to give me a birthday card and spend time eating cake.

My sister and I had some time to chat when my stepdad and nephew were off playing outside.

My sisters exhusband, my nephews father, is a reborn Christian. Not only that but he is probably the slimiest person you'll ever meet. He's been in prison no less than 5 times for drug dealing. He's overdosed in the presence of my nephew at least once.

Well... he's allowed supervised visits with my nephew so he generally gets to go to church with the nephew.

My sister is fine with this so long as its only a couple hours a week, though she doesn't like church herself.

Only its gotten alot worse than a couple of hours a week. My nephew now talks about Jesus and god CONSTANTLY. To the point that its driving my sister nuts and she's ready to restrict the visits alot more.....

I'm a 17 year old female, 5'6, 141 pounds. I've recently lost 40 pounds, and I want to lose about 15 more. Is eating 900-1100 calories bad for you? Does your body really go into starvation mode? Will I actually GAIN weight by eating this amount? I'm exercise 6 days a week, 1.5 hours at a time. How many calories should I be consuming to lose weight, or is what I'm doing now okay?
