If you took a copyrighted pic. and edited and put it somewhere? would that be copyrighted?

or like what about a doll on a doll maker???? That you made your self, just on someone elses maker???

It depends on what you mean when you say "TOOK".

If you 'took' a photograph with your camera, then you own the copyrights of that picture and can do anything you like with it.

If you 'took' someone else's original work and edited it without their permission. Then you'd be violating their rights to the property.

Could you dub your own singing voice over a Rolling Stones song track and legally call it your own work? Answer: NO!

The same applies to anything created by anyone other than yourself. Even a baby who scribbles on paper with a crayon owns the rights to their artwork.

It would be a violation of copyright, unless the author has allowed you to modify the image.
