I need to write an essay on how parabolas relate to us and our school for a class. I can't think of any reason why they help us, besides knowing them helps you ace your tests...Otherwise, I guess architectures use them.. i dont know. Can you help?

i'm only 14 years old and my mom wont let me wear a tampon! i'm on my period right now and i'm going to my grandma's house soon and i might go swimming! what do i do!? i know not to wear a pad in the pool! but is it ok to wear nothing in the pool besides my bathing suit!? and if my mom does decide to let me use tampons, does it hurt to put it up there!? please help soon! thanks so much if you do!! =)

When I was dieting, I was aiming below 1000 calories. Is that unhealthy while exercising? Is it unhealthy just to do it? Also, the less calories I take in, the faster I can lose weight. So, if I were to decrease my calories to 1000 or less, what amount of time should I do this for, before stopping?

i have had the a/c compressor changed, the freon is in it, the control panel changed. I have had someone tell me that the fan isn't running as fast as it should, Could that be why? Also when im driving it and my a/c is on and i slow down the car dies some times or seems to run really bad. What the big deal? Why am i having so many complications due to my a/c?
