Can hypnosis be used to "Delete" memories of a bad relationship?

Once something is integrated into long-term memory, it's there permanently. Unlike a digital computer, the brain does not have a delete key. It's ingrained in the neurons now, physically connected in a neural pathway.

And no suggestion by a hypnotist will undo it, either. And anyone who says that hypnosis can make you forget doesn't know what he's talking about.

The best approach is to stop caring about it. Forgive all the past transgressions. Dismiss all thoughts of reconnecting or keeping the relationship alive in some way. Above all, stop obsessing about it or TRYING to forget. Every time you access the memory, it will be more deeply ingrained.

Just walk away. The thing to do is to learn from it and move on...move on the new relationships to replace the old ones. Put the old relationship in the past forever. You'll never get rid of the old memories, but you can stop accessing them.

Delete, No. cause you to suppress the memory, Yes.
However why would you want to do that, if you did how would you learn not to make the same mistake again?
