Well many times I don't even know when it's dead or not. But sometimes I do, because there's this light that is on remote control that tells me if its dead or not. But sometimes I am just to lazy to look so I just use the tv instead.

Because most goons who watch tv
go into immediate shock
and manicly press the buttons
because its beyond their capabilities
to think to themselves i will get up off
my backside and turn the tv channel over
manually, but instead they just go into shock and denial, and are lost and fretfull that the coffin shaped bit of plastic will no longer serve
them all evening

what a crazy question, i found myself doing that today, i dont know maybe its frustration to get the energy out of the battery.
am i making any sense to you or am i talking a load of codswallop.
When im waiting to cross the road, i press the button about 25 times to get the traffic to stop quickly. and when im waiting for a lift i keep presssing the button thinking it will come faster.. its daft.

It's called CPR! And it's a helluva lot easier than looking all over the damn house for good batteries!

It is the desperate futility of the hopelessly lazy. And because, probably, YOU were supposed to change the #!$%! batteries!

For the same reason people press the elevator call button again, thinking it will arrive faster that way.
