i have had the a/c compressor changed, the freon is in it, the control panel changed. I have had someone tell me that the fan isn't running as fast as it should, Could that be why? Also when im driving it and my a/c is on and i slow down the car dies some times or seems to run really bad. What the big deal? Why am i having so many complications due to my a/c?

I very own a 2000 honda prelude, and that i've got in no way had any problems with it, that's a great motor vehicle! If that's a honda, and it truly is purely have been given 140k miles on it, it is going to nevertheless run for an truly long term. the only situation with hondas is the section costs, which would be very intense, in case you do have a situation with it down the line. for under $3000, with working a/c, and so few miles on it, i think of that's a great purchase! sturdy success!

A lot of possibilities there. I suggest taking back in to the place that changed the compressor. It is quite possible that you have a freon leak still, and that is why there is not cold air. The AC place should be able to check it out for you. good luck. Do it now before it gets too hot this summer, they will be swamped.

So your a/c is recharged?
The car dying isnt really dying look at your RPM's if it dips below 450-500RPMS its fine any lower then something is wrong. Usually it dips a few hundred from normal idle. Its common on all Hondas. The fan shouldnt be a prob it could be an compresser also.

you may have a bad or malfunctioning a/c compressor or the system just needs to be recharged. If you go to you local mechanic and have them take a quick look at it, they can probley advise you of what the problem is whether its a compressor or just a simple recharge you can do in you own driveway in about 20 to 25 min.
