I have taken an injured bird home 3 times so far. Each occasion I cared for it till they could fly round in my house then I took it back to where I found it to let it go. I think that way they might find their familiar ground & might even be able to reunite with the family.
Watching them fly away left me with a wonderful feeling each time.

After having just about every animal bought to our house for repair of various broken bits and some TLC, I would have taken the bird home to care for it.
We've had squirrels, badgers, foxes, magpies, kestrels, owls, sparrows...you name it.
My mum even nursed a baby mole back to health IN HER BRA and it lived quite happily in a massive glass tank filled with dirt and grubs for about a year and a half (lifespan I believe).
I just can't help myself. I hate to see something in pain. Why leave it if you can help it? Almost the greatest feeling in the world is when they leave you and they are repaired!

I love my life. Money is an intense temptation but not enough for me to test the length of my life. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Psalm 68:19. On those scriptures, I need only God and I am already quite safe and wealthy. Peace, Love and God Bless

Id call a vet to to check on it first and i sit and stroke the poor things head while we waited .
If it could be saved id pay for it to be made better and id take it home and love it, but if it had no hopes left id pay for it to be put to sleep and sit with it till it was gone.We all need love and compassion even a cow. xxx

Would take it to the vet. I've done it before, though not with a crow. Hate to see animals suffer.

I'd just ring either the RSPCA or the RSPB cause your not supposed to touch injured birds but I would still find it very difficult seeing it suffering.

I'm a Redneck, I would care for the cow if I thought it could be saved. If not....I would have to get my shotgun outta the truck...and well....let's just say...the family will eat good that night!

That is a damn good question and it has opened a debate between me and the other half. All we can come up with is that you shouldn't cook it and eat it!
