I've got two little nieces, one is nearly 8 & the other is 2.. My 8 year old niece is always nasty to her little sister, she'll bite & kick her as soon as our backs are turned, and she's tried to suffocate her on two occasions.. My sister has tried everything, time-out, taking away toys, putting her to bed, nothing works.. When she's not around her sister, she's lovely but as soon as the little one is around she starts.. She's told myself & my sister she wishes her little sister had never been born.. The 2 year old is absolutely adorable, and her sister hates all the attention she gets, but when you try & spend time with the 8 year old, she throws it back in your face.. My sister is at her wits end & so are the rest of my family, she's even talking about putting her in foster care for the sake of the little one.. What do we do? x

We heat our home with a wood burning stove and in the winter we dumped our ashes in the kiddie pool full of water because we didn't want to dump them in the trash or on the grass. Now we are going to dump it in the yard but my mom said that ash and water are caustic and dangerous and that we need to find a safer solution. Would it be bad to just dump it all in the yard?

Today we dissected Bull Frogs in science class. They've been in storage since August and they were treated with a chemical, to preserve it. What's the name of that chemical?

I also think i might be mildly allergic to it. I was cool with the frog but there was WAY too much of that chemical in it. We had trays that were about 15 inches by 9 inches and 4 inches high. My partner cut open the frog and dumped out the excess chemical from the frog as instructed and the entire pan was filled about a half an inch with the chemical. That's way too much. Any ideas on why i've been sick all day?

It got into my computer some years ago; it came in a file named “Mayflower”. It looked useful and user friendly at that time, but slowly started attacking and killing my “native” software. Soon it took over all my software and now is totally controlling my whole network. It got to the point that now is trying to delete the few pieces of original data by making any participation in my system ILLEGAL, this bad virus is now in the process of building a wall around itself. I think it will end up destroying my whole system, Help!

My boyfriend is depressed. he is just now dealing with things that happened to him almost 2 years ago. He had a bad car wreck, got divorced, and his grandma died. i am curious about OTC medicine such as saint johns wort that r for depr. and if u have used them. also we cant afford alot. plus i need to know how to reassure him some things. he told me last night he is ****** up and is only ******* me up (i think because of everything he is feeling) he said he feels like he is going crazy. and he is affraid he is going to break my heart like he did his ex. i dont know what to say to those things. all i could tell him was it will be okay, we can get through this, im hear for you and hold him. i dont feel like that was enough. any suggestions on how to help him with out a pychiatrist (we cant afford it)...he has a hard time opening up. all suggestions welcome. if u have been depressed or know someone what helped u get through it?

I am working at a contract position right now. The company is moving their headquarters at the end of September. They want me to stay until then and are offering me a bonus to stay.

I am looking for a permanent job because then I will have benefits through the company. I am currently paying for COBRA benefits which are expensive.

My ex-husband has asked me to come and stay with my child in another state. He moved due to job reasons and wants me to stay in his house with the child for 2 more years until she graduates. She is living alone with her grandmother taking care of her now.

My parents are pushing me to stay here in the state where I live and not worry about my child. I am in a constant of worry for my daughter and its affecting my health.

What should I do? I want my priorities to be set right and do what is right...

Help!

These people seem prone to exploitative and false arguments like "It's just a Theory!", they confuse Laws (enforceable legal and secular codes of conduct) with religious doctrines from ancient desert books (same word, different meaning), they completely don't comprehend the meaning of simple words, like *dead, death, meaning no longer alive*, not meaning *similar to life but with cool ghostly special effects and ice cream*, they misinterpret simple phrases in ancient, translated books, such as "The end is near" written 2,000 years ago doesn't mean the end is near now, it means they were WRONG.

Do you see a common thread here?
