hey everyone...I had a friend who has recently passed away and it hurts me sooo bad...does anyone have any advice that could help me get over the loss of my friend...he was a very special person to me and it hurts so much knowing that he is not here anymore for me to hang out with and just talk to...if anyone can give me some advice i will be very thankful...

Recently my mother in law found a bruise on husbands arm (which happened during sex ) and she asked him if I was beating him. I am insulted that she thinks I would do something like that. Would you be insulted if this happened to you? (by the way, he told her how it happened and she dropped the subject) This is also the woman who thinks Im in love with my ex still. I feel like she is starting trouble...what do you think?

what songs have you like and not liked to hear at wedding receptions?... give me title and artist... we listen to country, some alternative, christian of all sorts... but want to get a good mix w/ good opinions..no hardcore rap though. I have been semi dating this guy for 5 years, we have two kids together. Our sex life is okay but it is not what it use to be. He is Mexican, I am Native. Yet I am Christian and he is Catholic- His family doesnt follow the Bible in regards to fornication and bastard children. Most of his of relatives keep having sex and kids outside of marriage and they all think this is great! I, on the other hand am horrified, as I was raised that you do no have sex outside of marriage much less kids, as its a HUGE sin. Each time we receive invitations to baby showers, or get this, BAPTISMS for these illegitimate kids, I cring, as I do not want to support these sinful happenings by going to these events, much less give them money or presents. Dont get me wrong, the KIDS are not a fault, as they didnt ask to be born from sin, but the parents are.
How can I say NO to these events and get out of going without causing a huge fight. (these occur with frequency, at least 3 times a year or more, as they are like rabbits and pop out kids alot) HELP!

im researching a paper about the law, and i need to know how long after someone files a complaint with the court will the charges be dropped? (the case be closed?)

the case would not be pursued but the complaint would be filed, when would the complaint not be eligible to appear in court anymore?
i heard it was three months but im just wondering.

I keep hearing these are the end of times....How many centurys have religious leaders been saying this? How can you be certain that this century is the end of times? War and poverty and bad people have always been on earth....so you can look back in history and say all of this was in book of Revelations. Admit it, religious say end of times to scare people. Just like they use fire and brimestone to scare people too.

We were all immigrants at one point. People hated the Irish in the 1840's, the Chinese in the 1860's, the Itialians in the 1900's - basically every major immigrant group. This is just the next one. I'm from a border region - these immigrants do jobs like pick onions for $2 or $3 an hour, the crappiest construction jobs, or clean houses. I worked fast food as a kid, but I would never have stooped to those jobs. After 2 or so generations, the kids go to college, speak english and little or no spanish. Basically, they become regular Americans like the rest of us. So why do people complain so much?
