I had asked a question earlier about Christian sects that interfere into married couple's sex lives. I got a LONG thesis on the RC churches' position on sex for pleasure and not reproduction.

Where in the gospels did Jesus say that married couples are not to use birth control and having babies was THE most important part of marriage?

Or did this RC teaching come from another source?

My husband and I moved into our great home over a year ago with our toddler son. One of our nextdoor neighbor's is a family with a middle aged mentally handicapped lady. She has on multiple occaisions come over, usually when i'm at work, to talk, or even ask to use a clothes dryer. She doesn't get the hint that if you open the screen door and stand guard, it means to not come in. She kinda 'barrels' her way thru. On top of this, we have a chain-link fenced in backyard that we enjoy spending time in. Again, when my husband is home alone or with our son, (rarely when i'm around) she will come out within minutes of them being outside and unwelcomingly start talking (loudly and whatnot, remember the 'handicap'). Sometimes she even cuts thru the backyard to hang clothes on the opposite neighbor's line, or even when we're having family time, she'll come over thru our gate to hang out. She won't get the hint we just want to be "Hi and Bye" neighbors and to leave us to our privacy. What to do?

hello everyone,
well ive been with the b/f for 3 years this past i would say 6 months has been really hard for us, we are still young both 20 but throughout our hole relationship he has never really kept a job longer then a year if even well for the past 6 months he has ahd not job he quite the last one becuase he didnt like the manager. well its been really hard becuase we dont really get to go out and while staying in is nice a girl needs things once in a while. well he finally got a job and is supposed to start today but he doesnt want to take it becuase its a gravyard shift. so here we go again disapointment. just when i thought things were going to happen for us he let me down this has been happenign for 6 months he gets a job and then dosent. should i let him go? i dont feel like he is secure that he wont be able to take care of me in the future yes we are young but shouldnt this show me how he will be down the road...it life goal is to have his own consturction buissness but

"Shayla" lived in the apartment beneath mine four years ago. We've had months of not speaking to one another at different periods, and I have felt very betrayed by her in the past. She asked me to be a bridesmaid in her wedding, and I agreed. When she began fighting with her maid of honor (her sister!) I got "promoted" to the position. To make matters worse, she admits she doesn't love him, and is constantly looking up exes and talking about trying to find a "fling" since she has a "free cheat" to get even with her man for an affair he had with one of his exes. I have asked her if she is sure she wants to marry him, and she says it doesn't matter since divorce is so easy. She doesn't have many friends, and calls me her "BFF." If I step down, I'm not sure she could replace me with anyone local. Should I suck it up and shoulder all this work for a friend I'm not sure is that close? Should I tell her how I feel about participating? Is there a gracious way out?
