There are a few reasons and non of them have to do with the wife. 1) He has a low self esteem and has to prove something by getting another woman's attention. 2) He doesn't have to respect a "hook up" so he can do whatever he wants in the bedroom and leave her. He doesn't have to worry about satisfying her for life, who cares? He doesn't. So.. he has his fun and leaves the hoe, then goes back to his beautiful family and acts like nothing happened. I once watched a movie and one guy wouldn't let his wife perform oral sex on him because it was the same mouth she kissed his children with... something to that effect. Kinda like he wants to do dirty things with his wife, but respects her too much to ask... all of the above is wrong, it's still cheating.

I think most men don't like to go through the "get to know you" stage in a relationship. Once your married you women pretty much knows what you like as far as food, sex ect. So it IS a have your cake and eat it too, like the person above said. To me when a man seeks out a hooker or another to have an affair he is not getting what he needs as far as emotional & sexual. (I think) But the sad part is that most men don't talk to there wives about what there missing so sadly the problem can't be fixed. But if you really cheated the best thing is a divorce, an anulment or some kinda counceling. Once the trust is gone it's VERY hard to get it back.

I find that most times men/husbands cheat is to get the excitement that they do not get at home. They do not want to lose their wives because a lot of times they truly love their wives and want to be with them. An affair (and I'm not condoning nor endorsing it) makes a man feel like a teenager in love. He's usually getting a need met that isn't being met at home (and that truly is not an excuse, but I'm just stating it the way I know it to be). There's some need that being met that isn't being fulfilled at home, it could be as simple as someone listening to him at the end of the day or just being really happy to see him, or be with him, maybe to rub his feet or shoulders - simple things like that. For a lot of men, it's not all about the s.e.x. - they may give you the impression that it is, but it truly isn't.

In the same way that he had the affair, in that very same way he would not want to leave his wife for ALL of the things that HE DOES get from his wife - stability, companionship, sharing parenting of kids, security, etc.

I'm not a man...but i've been on both sides of this story. I've been cheated on and i've been the cheater most recent. Not proud of either by the way. i think when men cheat, it's a game to them, they want a change(some excitement) and they know they have it good at home so they don't wanna give that up either. Have your cake and eat it to. Women i think cheat because they lack something at home(emotional connection)..women sometimes just don't want to let go of whats at home because women tend to not want to leave "security" until they're sure something else will be just as stable.
Only a matter of my opinion, but i hope it helps you. and if your spouse finds out and you do decide to work through it......it is hell to pay for a very long time after...possibley even forever! good luck!

As for me, I'd be okay with just my wife, because that's how I'd let her know that she IS my only one. But the way think shows for only very few men to think this way. To answer your question, most men will cheat on their wives to empress their friends, just to be able to get away with something, or because other women get off on having their way with married men, some like to be the other woman. Trust is one of the most emportant vouls in marriage today, and with regrets I must say get out girl before you end up hurt in both ways.

To be honest, I blve it is that the man seeks something of openess he may not find in his spouse, but the other partner to him is sacred so he doesnt want her to go and annul~ Love is there, but you arent comfortable w/your spse or you wld be able to do the 'hooker' things with her! You and your spse need to role play, and see if that doesnt spice it up to stop your or your friens temptation....god bless!

Honestly, you can file for divorce. The man is endangering your life by going to prostitutes for sex. Even if he is using a condom, he can still give you std's.

Document everything, get an attorney and file for divorce.

Good luck.

If you loved her at all, you wouldn't be after hookers. Let your wife go before you give her any diseases & you need help with your sex addictions.
