i still think they need to beat the pistons to prove themselves

I don't think they've proven themselves yet. The Wizards really weren't the same team from the regular season without their 2 star players. The Cavs really won't get a chance to prove themselves until the conference finals against Chicago or Detroit. New Jersey has been playing well, but I wouldn't consider them a top notch team to compare them with. What the Cavs need to do is take out New Jersey quick (unless Toronto makes a miraculous comeback) so that they can rest while the Bulls and Pistons slug it out. That will give them a chance to be fully rested while the Bulls/Pistons winner will be pretty tired from what will likely be a long series.

I don't think it was impressive or convincing.
Much respect to Eddie Jordan, the Wizards players, and the effort they put forth, but the Cavs should have destroyed them and while they did sweep them, there were a couple of games that were just a little too competitive.
I mean, Washington was playing without their best player and their third best player, and to challenge a team with championship aspirations, says to me those aspirations are probably going unfulfilled.
The Cavs will play a very entertaining series with NJ/Tor, win and then get beaten soundly by whoever they play in the conference finals.

Watching the series against the Cavs and Wizards. They couldn't even stop Jamison, he scored over 20+ points in the series. So how would they expect them to stop the the whole Detroit Pistons squad?

i think nothing of it it wasnt impressive nor convincing and i'll tell you why all 4 games the wizards could have won if gilbert would have been there i thought they were gone run through them like the pistons did the magic but they had problems all the way to the end of the 4th quarter if the cavs play the nets i really dont think they'll beat them unless they show something else

Well, I really can't say that it was impressive, since the Wizards lost two of their main players. Many knew that it would be a sweep. If anything, I thought the Cavs should have had much larger margain of victory in each of their wins. That's just my opinion.

Neither. Washington without their 2 best players is probably one of the worst teams in the NBA. The fact that they were still close games is pretty unimpressive. Lebron will never win a championship unless Cleveland gets a 2nd good player. He might have to play some defense all game long too.

They were on cruise control the whole series, they did just enough to get the wins, nothing impressive, but they got the job done. Next series the playoffs will "officially" start for the Cavs, and they will play at a higher level.

They didn't convince me about anything. they played a depleated Wizards team that was without two of its star players and still every game was close. This next series iss going to show how for real they are. They should just be rejoicing that they dont have to play the Pistons or Bulls.

Lets see,

No arenas+ no Butler= Not a very good team.

Lebron did what he had to do, but I'm not very impresed with the sweep of a decent D1 college team!
It's a shame too, because they had a great rivalry going and it woulod have been an entertaining series if the Wiz were healthy!
Show me a series win Vs J kid and the nets, then we'll talk!

The series wasn't even fair for the Wiz. who were missing Butler & Arenas who are the Wiz. 2 best players. the Cavs have a great team but the win proved nothing except that they just beat a team who is missing its 2 best players.
