Some people assume Jesus was gay. I think that's rather silly, but everybody is free to believe in whatever god they want.
I'm straight, but I will never feel offended if somebody calls me gay. If that would offend me, it would mean I would look at gay people as 'less than myself', or else it couldn't offend me. So, I fail to see why a sexual preference could be concidered an insult.
So, we have religious freedom, and we have the fact that all people are equal, whether they are straight or gay or whatever. We also have the fact that discrimination is a bad thing.
So, in a society that has religious freedom, how can it be blasphemy to believe that Jesus was gay?
Or, to put it differently: in a society with religious freedom, isn't every belief blasphemous towards somebody else's beliefs?
