Sit down with the roommate. Say, "I like you. This thing you do is driving me crazy. Can we figure out a way to compromise so you can do what you want, but not make me crazy along the way?"

been there done that. NEVER AGAIN.
He stole my razors, my wax kit, would eat my food, drink my drinks, make messes, bring sluts into the apartment when my boyfriend and I were away, etc etc etc.
oh did I leave out that he stole over $1000 from my boyfriend. never paid rent, never bought his own food, etc etc. He was using my boyfriend and my boyfriend was just trying to be the nice guy so let it all happen until I got seriously angry and kicked the guy out.
We lived in a 1 bedroom apartment....no need for a couple and a bum to live in that small apartment. It was small enough with just my boyfriend and I.
My advice- don't get a roommate. I don't care if the person has been your best friend since you were 3. It ruins friendships and never works out.

Ask them to leave. Be nice though, you need your personal space ... everyone does. Whoever they are, they should understand.
Or skip that and go to plan B ... which is move in with your mum!! You can never get crazy of her apple pie!

when nu find out the answer to this let me know i have one thats has paid down on another apartment and paid the first months rent but is still here under my roof but here she only has to pay one bill and its the water bill which she has late get behind by 2 months so wihen she moves i now have a $236.00 worth of happiness when she gets out

First if she's a friend of yours before yah became friends you made a big mistake and the second thing is that i have nothing to tell you right know.

What you do is get duck tape and a closet and just make sure you throw some food in there and make them pay there half every month

if this roommate is bugging you on purpose then don't live with them! but have you explained how you feel to them maybe they are not aware of these feelings ?

just keep a good personal distance from them and don't try to be too friendly. keep your personal stuff away and don't agree to lend or share. they'll get the hint and stop being too crazy.

i think that if its your house then u should kick him out. but if its not your house then just be out of the house as much as possible. only go there to sleep.

my roommate is my younger sister and she pisses me off so i just piss her off.
