I have to run the 200 meter dash today at 10:30 for a competition and i was wondering how should i run it without getting tired at the end? I always expell most of my energy at the beginning and sprint supper fast, but then when it gets to the finish i die off and dont end up sprinting. Which i know i should sprint the end. So if u have any tips it would be great!!

My friend wants to throw a baby shower for me. I wanted to throw one for her. lol. We're 5 days apart and both having boys. (YAY I found that out yesterday). Is it ok to combine baby showers just for friends? I figured her family could have another get together and so could mine so they wouldn't have to worry about getting me anything and vice versa. Another question I have is where we live it gets HOT in the summer. So is a baby shower at 6 months too early? I'm 20 weeks and 3 days right now. Is all that just too tacky??

Ignoring effects of added mass due meteorites or other extraterrestrial objects, does increasing human population increase the overall mass of the Earth? It would seem that it should not, given that humans and animals are comprised of Earthly stuff like water and minerals. If that's true, it would imply that increasing human and animal populations would require a commensurate reduction in the amount of plant mass on Earth, resulting in no net change to the Earth's mass.

True or not? Justify your answer!

Corollary: If increasing human and animal population requires an offsetting reduction of plant life, how long will it be before there is insufficient plant life to sustain animal life on Earth? Is there a "break even" point? Is it already here, and is resulting in the extinction of certain species, or would such extinction occur anyway?

I'm a teenager but all of the juniors sites seem to only stock bikinis. I'm curvy and I want a slimming one piece bathing suit but all i've seen are ridiculously old-looking ones. I don't want floral swimdresses. eww. Can anyone help?

If we look at the US and Canada together they are both quite similar in their culture - heritage(mainly European), language, sports etc. But yet the rate of gun related murders in the US is more than 50 times that of Canada.

I appreciate there are probably more guns per capita in the US, and I understand that Canada has stricter gun laws.........but the people are essentially the same.

Last night I was at a party and I met this girl her name's Alyssa. She's really amazing! She was sitting by herself at a table and seemed somewhat sad so, I decided to ask her to dance. She said yes. We talked a lot that night and we were walking I put my arm around her, and we were even holding hands. Things were great. The last song of the night came and she kissed me it was a perfect night...until after that....

She like jumped back and ran downstairs and sat down. I asked her what was wrong and she kept apologizing to me. Telling me she was sorry but she had just broken up with her current boyfriend and she wasn't exactly sure if they were even "broken up." She was crying. She told me how he treated her really badly was involved with drugs, wouldn't come to this party tonight and just started spilling her guts to me. It was kind-of weird.

She then said she doesn't want to lead me on and that things right not are VERY "complicated" in her life

What if the many plots weren't stopped ? What would the world look like then ?
