I would tell them the most important thing anyway, because I love them.

I wouldn't tell them. If this is the most important thing in the world, I'm going to someone who will believe.

However, I don't really know that won't believe, I just think that. So why not risk it? What if they do believe?

Conclusion, I would tell them and stick with my story. If they don't believe, I walk away. (All I had to do was tell them, you never said I had to make them believe. )

Still go ahead and tell them. Maybe they might not believe you and argue with you or debate with u, but believe me, as they go along in life, they might be reminded of it. Sometimes, some people's egos dont allow them to take advise upfront......but it does register. Deep down sometimes, people do know what's right and what's wrong. And if not today, they might realize tomorrow. Also, we have to understand, that everyone's experiences are different. But all we can do, is tell them what we have learned.

The most important thing in the world to whom? If it is to them they might consider believing.

Before you break the news, get sufficient proof to back up what you are going to say. This way, chances are the person will believe what you are going to say. If its such an important issue, you may want to find the right time and place to say it.....you don't want this person to be distracted while you say it.

i would tell them, and try to state it in a way they could relate to,,,,,,, then leave it alone,,,, let them come to see its true, or accept it if they never see /believe it

one little example, a small one, but it can relate to bigger issues,,,,,, i learned early that i had high cholesterol,,,, and considering my diet, low fat, not fried foods, it must be genetic(my grandmother passed on at 54 from a heart attack),,,, i spoke to my family about this, and my concerns, especially my concerns about their "old southern fried diets" no one listened, they thought i was crazy,, some years down the road, as heart attacks are occurring,,, one of them said "wow i had a 800 cholesterol level when i was hospitalized" they changed their diets, no one ever said or mentioned the fact i tried to tell them this
but i feel ok about it, i had information, i felt it was important, i didnt just use it to my own personal advantage, but tried to share
so share what info you can, and try to do it in a sharing way,,,, and feel good about it, you did your part

I'd tell them anyway. My job is to tell them and their job is to choose whether they want to believe it or not.
