I have a nasty plantars wart on the bottom of my big toe that has been there for about 2 years. I've tried over-the-counter wart removers and freezing, but noting has worked, and now my wart is spreading. If you know of a quick cure that is sure to work, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

Thanks!

Oh my goodness I have the same problem. My next to last toe has one on it and it has been on there for about a year I have tried freezing it and everything. The other day I went to the docter about it and they had a a little box that carried toothpicks an acid. They dipped the toothpick in the acid and they they had to pick at the wart which did hurt but it only last 2 or 3 minutes and while they are picking they are trying to get the medicine to the main part of the virus. It is very white now and seems to be flaking off I have been put Compound W Bandages on it I have to wait a few more days to see if it heals but I think it is working.

Try It!!
Good Luck!!!

This is an old time cure for warts that works. You take a potato and cut in half. Then take one of the half's and rub it on the wart. Then throw it away over you shoulder where you want look again. Like in the trash and let someone else take it out. Then just forget about it and in about a month it will be gone. I used this trick on my sons, he had one on the bottom of his foot and one on his hand. But just try not to think about it anymore once you do this.

A young friend of mine did a science project on duct tape for warts, and my daughter has also used it. It really works! Keep it on the wart constantly for at least two weeks, or until it is gone. The science project research says that the duct tape will put the bodies immune system on alert that there is something (a wart) that needs to be attacked.

My experience has been that the over the counter stuff, that works on other warts, doesn't work on Plantars Warts. I've had to have them removed by a doctor, who used a laser, and took them off. I healed up in about three weeks, and wore white socks, until they did. I worked in an area that required black socks, and obviously it was noticed, but when explained, it was overlooked for the time.

Ask your doctor for Cimetadine pills. There's a 50/50 chance they'll work, but if they do, they're a MIRACLE. I had about 160 warts on my hands, the worst case my doctor had ever seen in his career, and I started taking the pills he gave me... pretty soon, they had all fallen off painlessly, and without leaving any nasty scars behind. It got rid of the plantar's wart that was on my pinky toe, too. Good luck!

i know you said over te counter doesnt work, but let me tel you. i am using doctor scholls wart remover the stick on kind. it costs 11 dollars and has salicylic acid. it works really well. i think this kind isnt really for plantars, but doctor scholls def. has something for those warts. you should try that at least and if it doesnt work go to the doctor and they will do it for you.

I had one for years. I tried everything, including having the Dr put something on it. It always came back. Last summer I tried a product called Podofilm. You can get it at a pharmacy. Works great.
