Omaha....
I travel the country for the company I own, and have been to both cities. Fargo is a nice place , but the nearest true civilization is Minneapolis, which is a far piece down the road. PLUS its cold as the dickens there during the winter.
On the other hand, Omaha is more the gateway to the Midwest and West. You have KC a short drive to the south, Des Moines not too far to the east , Sioux City to the north and it is more of a cosmopolitan city.....JMHO...
